Doing cat rescue and it being prime kitten season, I've purchased three of these in the past two months for the two litters of kittens I'm fostering. Both litters have loved this more than anything else I've bought.They love batting the dangling toys, climbing on top of the frame, and snuggling to sleep on the mat. The giraffe has some stuffing inside of it, giving them something to snuggle against.To prevent it from collapsing, I've zip tied the top of the frame together as the shiny cord does not do a good job of holding it together and upright.Their are some issues with the durability, the first one I purchased, one of the metal frames poked a hole in the fabric cover causing, what I thought could be, a safety hazard for the kitties. Normally this would be a deal breaker/negative review for me, but those crazy babies love it so much that I replaced it. I found by zip tying the frame together immediately, prior to letting the kittens go at it, has prevented the other two play mats from developing the same issue.I'm not sure how this will hold up as the kittens get larger, right now one litter is between 2-3# and the second litter is between 1-2#; for their sizes now it's great.

I recently adopted two kittens and this is their absolute favorite toy/resting spot. Only problem with the construction is the ribbon holding the toys comes undone easily and made me nervous one of them would eat it ... I got a safer ribbon and retied the toys. Hopefully the manufacturers of the product read this and look into sprucing up this item - other than that, this is a hit with my kittens!

Best investment yet (and I spent about $200 in misc kitten stuff before)! I have 2 adult cats, & just got a new kitten.. and after lots of stuffed toys, & too many scratches to count, I saw this gem.. WOW! We (the whole family) love it! My husband & I because it cuts down on the play time scratches, & the kitten plays till he's worn out..our adult cats, because they arent being tormented by their new baby brother (and they too are intrigued by it) and the kitten has endless fun !! We love it!

The media could not be loaded.  Our kitten LOVES it. Like I was like oh she'll never play with it with the serious cuteness you'd hope for but she does. I went to do a short vid for a friend and put her in her playpen with it, she went straight to it and instant cuteness.Like other reviewers I wish the bottom detached for cleaning. I haven't cleaned it yet but plan to do so in the bathtub, on here now to get a scrub brush. Our kitten has pooed on it so we've been putting a towel or something over it.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my cats. It is smaller than the similar baby mat - just the right size for our kittens. The cats use this frequently - both for play and naps. The only complaint I have is the top is just tied together with a string, and my cats frequently get the string off, which not only could be a choking hazard, but it causes the top to fall down - no more playtime until Mommy gets home to fix it.

My kitten is disabled and has ch. i was recommended a baby activity center and was ECSTATIC that they had one for cats. In looking back, the child one probably wouldve been more sturdy and durible...however i will say this is by far my chers favorite toy (and i have many!!!) i wish it was just more durable.

My partner and I work yet have a very playful kitten. Luckily our cat loves hanging toys, so this was perfect. Good, easy to set up, stirdy product. Our cat plays with it all the time when we are gone, and still loves it after months!

Our kitten loves this. Seeing all the swinging toys drives her crazy and she plays with it ferociously. That wouldn’t be much of a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s a fragile. You have tie the rods really tight but even when they come undone they are easily reassembled.
