I originally purchased a set of straight adapters (versus the elbow configuration I'm reviewing) because my phone's USB C port had gotten worn and loose over time and wouldn't hold a connector to charge the device. I figured maybe these adapters could solve my problem, but the part that connects to the phone kept falling out.But, when I replaced my phone, I immediately inserted one of these into the new one and keep it there all the time. So I don't have to worry about wearing out the phone's charging port inserting the cable day after day. It also keeps out the lint, since I carry my phone in my pocket. And connecting the charging cable is a snap - literally. The magnet snaps the cable into place.When I purchased the first set, I wasn't sure whether the charge time would be impacted, or whether data transfer was possible. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that both scenarios work perfectly.In fact, they have worked so well that I've purchased more and put them in all of my devices. Connecting and disconnecting is so much easier, I feel like this should be the standard for charging ports and cables.There is only one downside I've found with this product . If you have a case for your phone, tablet, etc., the piece of the adapter that inserts into your device's port may be obstructed if the case's opening is not big enough. I was fortunate to find a case that works, but the case for my old phone was just a fraction too small. But I would happily trade out a case for the benefits of using this product.

Im we have been using these as protectors for usb-c ports on iPads. We have had 2 internal ports fail and have to be replaced over the years, these are able to give a better point of contact that is easily replaceable if needed in addition to the convenience of the magnetic connection.They are also are able to pass through all the functionality of the ports. I have also used them on the steamdeck and iPhone 15 and they worked flawlessly for all video out functions in addition to charging.

It looks high quality, no issues connecting. I got two so I can easily connect the same cable from my monitor to either of my two laptops so I only needed the make part that goes in the laptop for the 2nd connection. Laptops: Win and Mac. I wish they could sell them separately so I don’t need to buy both sets twice. That way I would give 5 stars for price.

Seems very well built. It actually does work. If you are one of those people who don't use or touch your phone while it charges it will work for you no problem. I however like to use my phone while it's charging and it takes an extremely low amount of effort to disconnect. Like picking it up....amount of effort. I purchased this to work in conjunction with a car charger and I've been nervous because I feel like any kind of bump or jarring from the road would cause this to disconnect. I also have noticed it will attract any kind of metallic debris/dust and not allow you to make a positive connection. Cleaning out the debris can be a bit tedious. Overall. I would give it a 7.5/10. It would just benefit strongly from having a more solid lockup/stronger magnet.
