Patience
Only had these seeds a couple of weeks and already have 10 cactus shooting up , I put them in a very small container in cactus compost and on the kitchen windowsill . I also covered them with a plastic bag . These seeds are well worth buying , I also got some free corpose seeds and they also are shooting up , happy days.

Beginners luck; I grew one but learnt lessons for next time
I am an absolute beginner and wanted to create a my own terrarium with old bottles from my chemistry lab.I think mould damaged most of my seedlings but I'm happy one cactus survived. I have now introduced garden moss and only spray water two-three times a month.I love my little desk cacti :-)

100% Germination
All germinated perfectly, keeping them moist and hot was essential compared to my other attempts, I put them in full compost with plastic film over the top on a windowsill, germinated in about a month or so. Transplanted and growing healthy so far.. just slow ;)

Lots of cacti babies
I started off germination with the container in a plastic bag to increase humidity, once they all started growing I’ve removed the bag to avoid mould. It’s in bright indirect light. I’d say 90% germinated. The photo is about 1 month’s growth, some are starting to get thorns.
