I got a wood steering wheel for my Subaru Sambar Super Deluxe Classic pickup (KS3). I wanted a somewhat matching gear shift knob, and this one looked pretty good at a good price. It’s got a good weight to it. Ball is easy to grip, even in my giant gorilla paws. On my Sambar, I didn’t have to use any of the (3) included brass adapters, it just screwed right on. Couldn’t be easier. The shift knob is nice and glossy and has a good finish to it. I will probably be picking up one for my Subaru Sambar Dias Classic van (KV4) as well.

Seriously hood. It’s ceramic which I wasn’t anti paying and heavy. Looks and feels fantastic. Threads weren’t amazing but I didn’t have a problem with it

It’s metal, not wood. But it’s weighed and smooth. Feels excellent and looks very nice. My pictures make it have an orange hue, it does not. It’s a light brown color. Would definitely buy again.

Its beautiful, it did chip the paint off pretty quick and I don't wear rings but it's super cool.

Looks just like wood; which was what I was looking for; and matches my 2010 Lexus RX450h's interior. Really like that it came with three different adaptors. Some of the aftermarket gear shift knobs don't and so you have to buy additional adapters. The con: Despite it looking like wood, it's really anodized metal. As such, it gets hot; REALLY hot; when the sun has been directly beating on it through the window. It cools down once you've had the air conditioning running for a short bit. But, I'd think twice about buying this one if I lived in Arizona full-time. It's vibrated a little bit loose a couple of times. But, I you just tighten it again. Some thread-lock blue would probably handle that just fine, and allow you to take it off when necessarily (DON'T use Thread-lock red. That's permanent!!). Has yet to chip, as others have mentioned in their reviews.

Quite light compared to a standard shift knob, and quite large. It's a dipped decal that barely looks like wood.

Der Universal-Schaltknauf aus Holz sieht auf den Fotos toll aus, in echt eher schäbig. In ein Auto mit miserablem Holzimitat aus den 80igern würde er aber passen. Bin natürlich selber Schuld. Ich habe aus der Überschrift "DEWHEL Universal-Schaltknauf aus Holz" darauf geschlossen, daß der Schaltknauf aus Holz ist. Wie dumm von mir. Hätte ich alles gelesen, hätte ich erfahren, daß "der hölzerne Schaltknauf" aus Aluminium ist. Das verbessert jedoch seine Flugeigenschaften enorm und rechtfertigt einen Stern.

As other review mention it's made from metal. The weight is nice. Comparing the alternatives and the price it's not a bad deal to be fair when you consider a real wood shift knob. Maybe I read the description wrong but it's a metal ball with some kind of print on it. Still looks good just not real wood feel on the hand.
