Good for a sing song
Awesome I love my 80s so this cd is perfect for me, good for road trips too. Good for a sing song as well I'm getting some strange looks from other drivers but it's fine. There is a wide range of songs on these CDs including onesie never heard of and I was born in the 80s but all in all its a fab cd.

Fantastic sing-a-long CD
Trip back in time to my childhood. Fantastic sing-a-long CD. A definite for those wanting to re-live the 80s minus the big hair, fingerless gloves and fluro accessories.

"Ultimate" is subjective...
...but I think they did a pretty good job of distilling the entire decade into one album. However, objectively, not having Dexys Midnight Runners - Come In Eileen means this cannot be the true "ultimate" compilation! Obviously people will debate what should have been included/cut but other than that one glaring omission, it's a great album and listening to it evokes some real nostalgia.

Fantastic Album
I spent some time looking for an 80's album with all the big hits that i wanted on and this is the one i chose, the majority of them were either 2 or 3 discs but this one has 4. They haven't forgotten any big ones, full of classics, if you enjoy 80's music i would recommend this strongly.

Not Bad But Hardly "Ultimate 80s"
I have always loved 80s music, so I bought this CD. I have now listened to it but, quite frankly, it has left me feeling rather underwhelmed. Although the album is titled "Ultimate 80s" and the blurb on the front of the case states that it is, supposedly, "The Greatest Music Of The 1980s", I am afraid that I don't agree. True, there are a fair few good to very good tracks on the CDs, but there is also a lot of rubbish too and far too many of the usual repeats that I already have on countless other CDs of this era. There are a few too many Stock Aitken and Waterman tracks on here for my personal taste, for a start. To be fair, though, there are a lot of far worse compilations out there of this sort of music and it is reasonably good value for money, but it is hardly definitive or a must-have item. You may find that, if you are prepared to spend a little more money and spend some time searching, you may find a superior 80s compilation to this that also offers you a lot more satisfaction. To sum up, this isn't a bad album for the relatively cheap price and you could do a lot worse, but there are much better 80s collections to be found too. This album might be more suitable for someone new to the era, but most serious collectors will soon get bored with this, as I did. I give it three stars, though. As the title of my review states, it isn't bad, but hardly "Ultimate".
