What can I say - except that it reminds me of my childhood and my mother baking cakes and making puddings. These bowl/jug covers where used extensively in the 50's and 60's and they are still brilliant for keeping fly's and other insects off freshly prepared food. They are also perfect for summer outdoor eating to keep the wasps at bay. They have good weighting around the hem and as well as bringing back memories of long summers, they and useful and fit for purpose. You can't have enough of them.

Heavier than expected, but to me that's a bonus,i use these all the time on my cup's and other containers, if not bottled, they look good too, had a few complements, would highly recommend this seller and product thank you, you're hard work is appreciated.

I bought this to replace a similar very elderly food cover that I have had for years, and it is just what I wanted. The only drawback it that it is smaller that I thought, but still useable.

I love these and was delighted to find one. They are so pretty but do the job perfectly. The beads hold the lace cover in place and definitely add to the prettiness. The cover washes no problem at all. Would like to find a larger one

Use this cup cover a lot.Cover my mug of tea, milk jug , small bowl.Used these type covers for many years.I like them .Wash by hand to extend life. Keeps inscts out and bits off trees when used in the garden.

We bought these as anniversary present for our daughter and her husband. Their thirteenth (Lace). I arranged one cover round a vase of sweet peas, it was very well received.

I have used this type of cover for years and like the fact that it lets the contents of the jug ‘breathe’. The new kind of covers don’t. These nets are impossible to find in stores now. My only gripe is that it comes in a small size.
