I was a little skeptical, but we were going to Greece for vacation and I do NOT do well in hot weather, so we bought several items to have just in case. This was a real good find though!Best Uses:This is most beneficial in stuffy, crowded places with not much fresh air. I used it on ferries, busses, and planes where it's uncomfortably warm and/or crowded. This really helped make uncomfortable places much more pleasant. In my opinion, motion sickness is just compounded with heat, and there were a few situations where others around me were getting sick but I was feeling surprisingly fine.Not as Good For:It was windy on our vacation, so it's not particularly useful when we were walking around in the hot sun because we already had a breeze.Most of the time I had it on low and it was plenty strong enough. There IS noise, but it didn't impede my hearing. It's hands free and it's also stronger than the handheld fans a few people in my group had, so it was doubly beneficial.Slight design flaw: on several occasions it turned itself on in my purse because the on button isn't hidden and can be pressed accidentally by other things in my bag. I would just kind of hear my purse humming and realize it was on.

This neck fan is perfection. I bought 2 to use on my upcoming trip to NYC (we went on their hottest days) and they worked so great.Very light weight but blasted air all around my neck and hairline. The 3 settings are nice but kept it at the highest setting when outside.The fan is quiet so you can still hear conversations and not have to turn off. The battery life is great (almost 8hrs straight at highest setting).An absolute must for outdoor activities like walking, biking, etc.

This is a great product. Kept me very cool all day at a baseball field in hot summer weather. Everyone wanted a turn to wear it because it really did help keep cool. I'll be buying additional for my family as gifts since they were all impressed by it. Seems to be good quality. The battery surprisingly lasted 6 hours being on the whole time.

It worked great for my Disneyland trip, it run out of battery at the end of the day, so easy to use, the fan quality is pretty good, and it’s not too bulky

After seeing a few of these in the wild, I decided to get one for myself. I hate the heat and any relief from it is welcome. And on that front, this item delivers. It provides a nice cooling effect with a long battery life, so thumbs up there. The device is sturdier than I expected (some might even find it a bit heavy, although it didn't bother me) and quite comfortable, both pleasant surprises. I suppose one could theoretically wear this to bed if you're a still sleeper but I haven't tried it.The main drawback is that this bad boy is loud. The lowest setting is fine, but the other two are quite noticeable. This doesn't bother me in of itself, as it's just white noise, but it would be an impediment if you're trying to listen to something or engage in conversation.My personal beef is the lack of a charging component. It comes with a USB cable that plugs into the fan, but not the part the cable connects to that goes into the outlet. I have one already from another device (as I'm sure many do), so I wasn't effected personally, but it's a glaring omission. Selling an item and not including a 100% crucial component, regardless of how common the manufacturer thinks they are, is a no bueno from me.A decent buy if you have the parts handy and don't mind switching to 'low' when you're socializing.

This has wonderful cooling power with 3 different speed settings. It’s great for the beach or walking outside while exercising.

Works well and they are fairly quiet. Just remember though, if you’re using it while it’s really hot outside it will most likely just circulate hot air. Other than that it works well and holds a good charge.
