箱が大破した状態で届きました。 プラスチック部分のパーツは4つ中一つしかまともにハマりませんでした。 工夫して加工しないとしんどいです。

This is a great little kit. I got it the next day after I ordered it. This was a very easy mod and I paired this with a Linsoul cable. Took about 15 mins to do the mod, and works perfectly. I got my portaPros on Prime Day for $35 and this mod (kit and cable) ran me $30, so for $60 I have some tricked out portaPros. One weird note. I noticed while assembly that the cutout for the jacket is the same as the original. Not huge but if you wanted to use your original covers, you could.

If you know how to solder, it's super easy to install. Make sure you have an exacto blade and a small (nail)file at hand to adjust the opening for the connector. Install everything to make sure the fit is as desired, when you are sure everything is the way you want it,open it up again and re-assemble using (hot)glue.

I had the lowest level of porta pros without the mic or detachable cable. I like using them at work but I need a mic. I didn't want to buy a 2nd set of porta pros, so I got this mod and a cable. One thing I don't see brought up a bunch is what the polarity of the driver leads are. I went with red on the right on both drivers and they still sound great. I suck at soldering and have the cheapest soldering gun I could find and it went fine.

It works. Mod itself isn't too difficult but the amount of hot glue you need to use to get this cover to stay in place is kind of ridiculous and inelegant. Had it fall out like 5 times before I decided to go crazy with the hot glue.
