I’ve been using LaCie drives for a number of years now and they have been nothing short of reliable and sturdy. Plug and play ready, easy to setup and use, and most importantly easy on the pocket book. They are not cheap, but they are so worth the money. The large capacity is perfect for daily backups and is multi system compatible.

Have used this aesthetically-pleasing device for about a year for Time Machine Backup on my Mac Studio M2 Max. Quiet and reliable so far.

inspire of not liking Seagate products, I do like this LaCie's product (I have had a Lacie hard drive that I loved dearly, but I accidentally dropped). This drive is easy to use and cute in its black case. Being solid state, I can be more relaxed handling it.

2017 iMac was cooked, slow all the way around. After installing the Mac OS on this device it has transformed the computer. iMac lightening fast now. And to think I was considering a new iMac around $1500. Why did I not do this sooner? Thanks. Saved me a lot of money.

I have tried to set this up with 3 new Mac's and could not finish the set up on any of them. I wasted hours trying to install doing the same things over and over. I called several experts to try to install and none of them could get it going. I tried calling to get some help from the company and could did not have any luck. I want to send them back or get someone to help me get the these. Is there any possibility of someone contacting me.

El regalo adicional del plan de Adobe All Apps por 1 mes es un buen incentivo si trabajas en el mundo creativo. Aunque cumple muy bien como almacenamiento externo, al tratarse de un HDD tradicional y no un SSD, las velocidades de transferencia (aproximadamente 130 MB/s) pueden ser un cuello de botella si planeas trabajar directamente desde el disco con archivos grandes o editar video de alta resolución. Para tareas intensivas, un SSD externo sería más ágil.

Ottimo, veloce e affidabile

Le délai de livraison a été correct, la qualité de la livraison parfaite et TOUJOURS : LaCie. C’est la meilleure marque de disques durs externes SSD selon mon expérience. Je travaille dans la musique et j’utilise Logic : une grande partie de ma vie artistique et professionnelle dépend de ma capacité et de la sécurité à stocker mon matériel avec un très haut niveau d’efficacité. Invariablement, j’utilise LaCie. La connexion avec le MacBook a été immédiate et parfaite. La vitesse est très bonne (et j’utilise un long câble). Très haut niveau de satisfaction. Une remarque : j’ai aussi le modèle avec la protection orange et je dois dire que celui-ci me donne une plus grande sensation de sécurité, d’« incassabilité ». Cela dit, je ne suis pas exposée à des risques habituellement (pas d’enfants, pas de boissons sur la table de travail et les transports lors des voyages ne sont pas très fréquents). J’ai acheté le modèle en question parce qu’il y avait une différence de prix notable dans l’offre, et aussi pour éviter toute confusion avec l’ancien. Sur ce point, je devrai faire l’expérience pour voir si j’ai pris la bonne décision. Mais toujours chez LaCie, sans aucun doute.
