5/8" Rock Wedge and Feather Shims | 10PCS Concrete Marble Granite Rock Stone Splitting Hand Tools

Used these a couple times already and they worked as advertised. So far just sand stone, So far the ten have been enough.

The media could not be loaded. First time breaking rock. Thought the hole I had was big enough and I ruined a few of the wedges(last photo shows). Important make sure you get a 5/8th drill bit.. after the holes were drilled, placed the wedges into the hole and the rock started to break apart.This item holds the wedges together with a rubber O-ring. Can’t say much about the other products but it works if used with the proper equipment.

I haven't split any rock with them yet, but comparing features to my old ones , they seem decent. When you tap the steel it has a "ring" similar to my old ones , telling me the hardness must be reasonably close. Sizing of the feather and wedges seems to be in line as well. I will report back if I find any issues with them, but for now I am very happy with them, the fit and finish is excellent.

These are exactly what they say, and do exactly what they are supposed to. These are Stone splitting Spike's/wedges, designed for one purpose, and do it great.These are amazing for precise cuts in all types of stone, marble, granite, concrete, or any other hard substance you need to split.In the box, you get 10. They are each, three- pieces, held together with a thick rubber o-ring. If lost the O-rings can be replaced with a rubber band or an identical o-ring of course. But the tools their self are durable enough to last a lifetime.They are very easy to use. Just draw a straight line where you want your cut to be, drill pilot holes, drop one wedge in each hole, start hammering each one, one tap at a time. Before you know it, you could have a massive Boulder laying in two pieces. Perfect tool (if not the only tool) for the job.Overall, very well made, great price, one time purchase, anyone can use. Highly recommended.
