Not Bad
A minimalist backpack for carrying skis. I purchased it to carry a large handsaw (Silky Katanaboy 650) into the woods for trail work. It seems reasonably well constructed but could use a sternum strap.

For the long walk to and from free parking
Walking a long way in ski boots is tough enough for me. This carrier keeps it from being much, much worse by making it much easier to carry my skis and poles.

Nice for long carries, impractical for short carries
Every tool has its purpose, and this is definitely handy in certain applications! If you have to carry your skis a ways, this is a great way to do it. The harness is lightweight and can be worn while skiing, or shoved into a pocket for later use. The skis sit at enough of an angle to keep them from hitting your legs, while not being obnoxiously obtrusive to those around you. The zipper pocket seems a little silly in its placement, but as long as it stays zips it's functional. If you're only going a short distance, it's not worth the effort of loading up your skis in this. Not that it's terribly difficult, it's not, but it does take a second to get everything positioned first in the harness, and then on your back. But if you have a bit of a walk, it is definitely handy!

Useful but not the best design maybe
I got this so that I could take my kiddo skiing and not have to worry about my hands being full from carrying all of our gear. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and we've had to cancel all of our ski trips because it has been too warm in the mid-Atlantic.The great thing about this bag is that it's pretty inexpensive and my skis and poles fit easily. The pocket is sort of wonky - it seems like it is upside down. I assume the idea is that you would use this when you unload your gear and then tuck it away in your jacket or a locker once you get out on the slopes. It's pretty compact as well, so it would be easy to leave in on underneath your jacket.I'm not a ski expert so take my review for what it is worth. If there is someone on here who is an expert, go with what they have to say. I didn't get to give this a try yet. Maybe late February will bring some legit snow, but so far it has been too warm where I live.

Very handy & compact carrier.
Just works - fits all my ski types including the wider skiboards that I'm using now.Skis and poles slip in easily and stay put on your back. There are plenty of very in-depth reviews here, but I will reiterate that the pocket is a bit misguided - its upside down, so storing anything is a bit of a risk. I think this is more intended as a get from point a to b kind of carrier rather than a wear all day and slap the skis on when hiking back to the car carrier.I have the Dakine bags that have all the fancy features like water bladder sleeve, plenty of storage etc. They have their use as well and can carry skis, but they are considerably bulkier and expensive.Talking about expense - the listed price is a bit high for what you get - I ordered a boot/helmet/Ski bag for the same price because my kids cannot carry the boots & skis in their hands (without complaining). There are competitors with a very similar design for about $10 less, which I think is a more fair price. There are some even cheaper options that are just straps, but your back is going to get and cruddy when the ice/snow melts and get all over the place, so the material on this carrier is a bit better in this respect, plus you won't have the ski edges slicing your jacket either....

Good concept, good design, could use a little modification
I purchased this to be able to go from my vehicle to the lift without needing to carry anything in my hands. I have a pretty good tendency to slide in the parking lot, and having my hands free means I can attempt to catch myself. So, I loaded up my skis (168cm) and poles and gave this thing a test run around my neighborhood. I like the offset of the skis to the back as I didn't hit the tails once. I also like how I can get everything snug. However, with my ski jacket on the shoulder straps had a tendency to migrate away from my torso (I used a piece of paracord/550 cord to hold them together). Then I tried to fold the backpack into the pocket. I was able to accomplish this task rather quickly until I got to the zipper. On the zipper there is a pull loop on one side which I somehow put the waist strap through or hooked to, but I had to pull a lot of material out to fish out the pull loop. Once the loop was cleared it was decently easy to close using my knees to hold the sides of the bag and pull the zipper closed.Overall, I can see this carrying unit going with me a lot as I will be traversing from my vehicle to the lift several times this season. Once fold down this easily fits in my hydration backpack.

Nice lightweight carrier but has a very small useless pocket!
This is a nice lightweight ski carrier that folds into a very small pouch, however it doesn't really serve any other purpose. The listing stated that it is designed like a backpack and we thought being it like a "backpack" we could at least put a water bottle in it. However, other than the keys and a credit card they show on the pictures you cant really put anything inside this backpack. The shoulder straps and buckles are comfortable and offer wide range of adjustments, they work great and this backpack can be very comfortable with or without the skies in it. However, because this pocket opens upside down, I'm not sure I would put any valuables in it as they would be inside this backpack on the back zipped up upside down and you wont be able to see if the zipper didn't open by accident. Not sure I fully understand this design, but I do like it as a carrier!

Handy carrier but needs a chest strap
I haven’t gotten to go skiing with this yet but just trying it on at home I notice that I’ll probably have a problem keeping the straps on my shoulders so will rig something up to act as a chest strap.Pros:- affordable, lightweight, small size so convenient for packing, fills the need it was designed for without extra fluff.Cons:- no chest strap as mentioned, wish the zip pocket were at the top so items wouldn’t be as likely to fall out if the zipper slips open.
