I wanted something to cover my gas hob so that I had more worktop space. After long deliberation I chose this board as it was a good size & looked sturdy plus I do like wood. It arrived fairly quickly and far surpassed what I had expected. Fabulous size, fits perfectly completely covering my gas hob, looks strong and sturdy & came with good instructions on how to keep it looking clean and hygienic. Would highly recommend. I shall probably never use it as a chopping board myself but if that's what you want/need it for then you could not go wrong. Would highly recommend this item, extremely pleased I went for this.

I have a small galley style kitchen with a small standalone gas cooker. I got this to put on top of the cooker when it's not in use to cover up the gas rings and provide additional counter space. It's great. I have my teapot on it when cooker is not in use. Its lightweight and sturdy so I can pick up and move onto a counter when I use the hob. Terrific find.

Covers my 60cmx50cm hob perfectly. Only complaint is the legs it came with. Only received 3 screws instead of 4 and they are far too short to use to secure the legs to the board. Still a lovely cover and chopping board though.

Bought this to cover a draining board of a cheap flimsy compact round sink. It’s given me extra worktop in a tiny kitchen. The feet are quite high, so I unscrewed and replaced with 4 white rubber ones that are lower so it doesnt sit too proud. I’ve oiled it to death but I know it’ll still mark very easy when used as a cutting board so I haven’t chopped anything on it yet. I do recommend though as it’s nice. I think the price should be a little lower though as I cant see it lasting long if used as a daily chopping board.

This is brilliant! The built-in stove in the kitchen has definitely seen better days (rusty and very energy inefficient) and this has allowed me to cover it up nicely. It looks really good. The wood is beautiful and easy to wipe. I supposed one could varnish it to seal it but it has been in use for a couple of months and still looks great. I have my induction plate and utensils on it and it is just perfect. I was dubious because it seemed to be really cheap but I am very pleased with it.
