Kesper Cutting and Covering Board 5859913 , 56 x 50 x 4 cm, Wood, Beige

This is brilliant! The built-in stove in the kitchen has definitely seen better days (rusty and very energy inefficient) and this has allowed me to cover it up nicely. It looks really good. The wood is beautiful and easy to wipe. I supposed one could varnish it to seal it but it has been in use for a couple of months and still looks great. I have my induction plate and utensils on it and it is just perfect. I was dubious because it seemed to be really cheap but I am very pleased with it.

Bought this to cover a draining board of a cheap flimsy compact round sink. It’s given me extra worktop in a tiny kitchen. The feet are quite high, so I unscrewed and replaced with 4 white rubber ones that are lower so it doesnt sit too proud. I’ve oiled it to death but I know it’ll still mark very easy when used as a cutting board so I haven’t chopped anything on it yet. I do recommend though as it’s nice. I think the price should be a little lower though as I cant see it lasting long if used as a daily chopping board.

The feet on this were too low to raise above my hob but I swapped the feet for some others this was easy t do as the ones supplied are screw in. and now it is high enough to fit over my hob, which is halogen and gas. When not needed it is great as a serving board, chopping board or for putting item on top when cleaning the counter.The bamboo is easy to clean, low odour after chopping onions, and cleans up a treat with a wash or if there are stains a gentle sand down and re-oil with mild cooking oil or almond oil.

I wanted something to cover my gas hob so that I had more worktop space. After long deliberation I chose this board as it was a good size & looked sturdy plus I do like wood. It arrived fairly quickly and far surpassed what I had expected. Fabulous size, fits perfectly completely covering my gas hob, looks strong and sturdy & came with good instructions on how to keep it looking clean and hygienic. Would highly recommend. I shall probably never use it as a chopping board myself but if that's what you want/need it for then you could not go wrong. Would highly recommend this item, extremely pleased I went for this.

I have a small galley style kitchen with a small standalone gas cooker. I got this to put on top of the cooker when it's not in use to cover up the gas rings and provide additional counter space. It's great. I have my teapot on it when cooker is not in use. Its lightweight and sturdy so I can pick up and move onto a counter when I use the hob. Terrific find.

Very pleased with this chopping board to cover my gas hob. It fits perfectly. Unfortunately, one of the wooden feet arrived broken, and the screws supplied to fit the feet to the board are too short. As yet, I don't know if I can get a replacement foot from the supplier, otherwise I will have to purchase more feet, and certainly longer screws. Feel disappointed and frustrated.A quick update. Contacted Amazon who sorted out my problem immediately. Thank you.
