I downloaded "Car Scanner ELM OBD2" on google play because it was a top rated app. It had a picture of a scanner that looked like just this one. I purchased this Scanner for Bluetooth. I plugged it in, connected to the scanner with Bluetooth, chose my car, and it worked right away. Great value

I have another Elm327 bluetooth unit that I have had since 2015... It still works perfectly fine. I just got this new one and it will not connect.. Pin is 1234..it still doesn't connect! Just like others have said. There's many defective units being sold

Works great, no complaints. I bought the in app upgrade which gives access to more data. I believe that was $7, otherwise free is mostly fine

At first it connected to my phone or tablet right away. About 2 weeks later it started taking 5 minutes to connnect. It will capture momentary data, but wont start showing real time data until it has been paired for about 5 minutes. Once paired, it seems to show a decent amount of data, but since I have a 2004 F250 that is modified, I can not comment on how much data is shows for new vehicles. It did scan for codes and let me delete them when I was working on my truck. I used Torque Pro for the app. FORScan does not like this ODB2 scanner.

For the price and the features it has meets all my expectations, easy to setup and use. Had it up and running in less than 10 minutes and navigating is simple and easy to use.

Bought this to reset a body control module on a 2011 F150. It did not work. Tried different apps with it, and still nothing. I still gave it three stars because it does connect to the truck and display codes.

I’m changing my review completely from one star to 5 stars , my deepest apologies to the seller , I originally wrote it was a complete one star worthy failure, but one day I really went over the instructions, which is a must if you want flawless hookups and connecting , I got the car scanner app and I got the good paid version, not only does this work, it works very well with iOS , I have an iPhone 11 and an iPad 13 , it hooks up instantly after you follow the initial instructions, you simply cannot try to hook it up via Bluetooth like you would with android, you have to just make sure your Bluetooth is turned on but when you install the app you have to open up the app and then app settings, then you choose your device and set up within the app and set all your parameters and make your desired settings and then hit connect , it took me a couple tries to get it right but it was more my error than the device or app , so after I got it running smooth with the app it is the best device I’ve used so far and especially for the money , all in all you simply have to read the instructions well ( they work ) and set up and connect through the app and your iPhone won’t be a problem, it works just fine if you connect through the app and not have your head in your butt like I did initially and all the other bad iPhone reviews which were most likely human error like me , go for it , it’s a 5 star piece especially for $20

This is a cheap Chinese piece of junk that does not work. Don't waste your time. Luckily, the purchase was made with Prime and it went right back as a return.
