Metal work is PVD coated and the keepers are the flat sided type (rather than the rounded side type - a style issue only and I prefer this type). The buckle is unbranded, but is matte while the keepers are slightly glossy. Heat sealing / finishing of holes and strap end is neat / good. Length from buckle pin to last hole is 23cm (14.5cm to first hole and with a small 16cm wrist, I am on hole 5 and the excess strap still fits between both keepers). Being nylon, the strap is stiffer and shinier than the canvas/material ones I own. It also feels rougher to the touch, but not when on the wrist, where it is as comfortable as any I have had (I fit all my daily wear (work) & sport watches with NATO straps for comfort and durability).Its a nice looking and well made strap and is cheaper that its canvas counterparts. It wont show dirt or bobble like its canvas counterparts either and will be good in wet / challenging / dirty environments and easy to clean. Nor is my wrist sweaty due to the nylon (I had thought this might be a downside compared to canvas).I dont expect the PVD coating to stay on (note PVD coatings do chip and scratch), but INFANTRY dont claim PVD was designed by NASA and used on the Space Shuttle (as others do) - good for them.

I've bought three of these so far, as they are so much more practical than the straps that I had on my watches. The first I fitted to a Mondaine where the layers of the existing leather strap had started to separate; the hardest part of the whole process was cutting the old strap off. The new one fit fine and is very comfortable. The second was just a colour change for the Mondaine. The third I bought to fit to a Braun that had a stiff leather strap which seemed to have the holes cut in just the wrong place. I haven't managed to fit this to the watch yet, because there is very little room for manoeuvre around the lugs; but that's a property of the watch, rather than a failing of the strap. I can honestly see myself buying one of these for every watch (with a non metal strap) that I might buy in future. The black metal rings complement the strap colours very nicely.

Bought to replace the band on my new   and the two go very well together. This band is based on the British Army G10 or NATO watch band. Made from nylon webbing the band is light and relatively comfortable, although it takes some wearing before it breaks down and conforms to the contours of your wrist. The principle is that the band threads behind both bars of your watch in an unbroken loop so if one of the pins breaks, the other will keep your watch securely attached to your wrist (unlike conventional, 2-piece watch bands).While the band is plenty long enough for all normal wrists, the buckle end is a little short, which puts the buckle on the side of my wrist rather than the underside. This isn't a problem, but it feeels a little odd to begin with.OK, so this isn't exactly compatible with smart evening dress and a £3000 Rolex, but it's a well tested, adaptable and robust, workaday watch band with a military look.

I really like the feel of this strap on. It was just what I was looking for to finish this watch mod off to how I wanted it!It feels great quality looks great and feels great! What more do you need!

Very good quality strap. Fits perfectly my omega x swatch. Easy to install by following the instructions. For some wrists it can be a bit too long but you can always fold the extra bit on the inside which is acceptable in look for this style of strap.

What you expect of any item with its price including delivery has to be balanced with said cost. So anyone who expects a soft canvas 'high quality strap' for this sort of money will be disappointed. This is a perfectly adequate thin nylon material strap that has the merit of being long enough to fit a male wrist with, in my case, more than just a couple of pin holes spare. Further, it has a double loop so the thin strap doubles up under the watch as opposes to the strap just threading through. This ensures the watch stays in position on the strap itself. This is a decent product but not one that will find favour with those seeking a 'quality' thicker design. You get what you pay for and this strap is perfectly adequate if you want something thin an light.

It is stylish and does not ĝet wet

Very tough strap and should withstand all the elements. Lightweight and very comfortable to wear.

The most durable NATO strap I have bought so far. Metal hasn't faded and material hasn't frayed for over 2 months of rough use.

It seems all NATO straps are created equal. I can't fathom why they are sold at different prices.... Actually... Case in point, I've bought 3 at 3 different price points so I'm contributing.This is a decent strap, however I'll be buying the cheapest I can find next time
