I applied this to the bottom edge of my storm door, which has no cover from any weather. Applied to inside edge, and it sweeps the porch floor when the door is opened. It has not come off, rotted, torn, and is still very flexible ,etc. And has been on my door for over 2 years. I love it! Had previously gotten 2 different types of draft stoppers, and both failed within a week from constant use of the door.
