OXO Good Grips 500 ml Angled Measuring Cup

This is a great measuring jug and very easy to measure and see what your doing with it

Clear markings, easier to read and great quality

It's nice but would be way better if they gave more detailed measurements -e.g. it marks 150 and 200 but not 125 or 175. This means that when I need really accurate measurements, I have to pour the liquid out and weigh it to check I've got the right amount as it's really guess work finding the half way point. I really like Oxo Good Grips products - their scales are the best ever - but this could easily be improved by adding more markings.

I love this jug so much! You can measure out liquids but also flour - it is so handy, it's a game changer.

Lovely little jug, looks small but does hold the required pint of liquid. I was surprised as it was plastic and assumed it would be glass. Not sure of it's durability as it is plastic so only gave it a 4 star. It is good when measuring as the levels can be seen easily from inside the jug and it is good to hold, good grips as in the title work well. I buy a lot of good grips articles and they are all good in that respect. I am hoping that the readings on the jug do not wash off but again only time will tell. It is nice little jug generally and "little" is the key word here, when it arrives it does look quite wee compared to others I have for the same measurement of liquid but it does the job well.

Great jug

This is the best measuring jug ever for accuracy in measuring. I have had the very smallest size one for a year or so now for measuring medication and wouldn't like to be without it. I do wonder why is has taken me so long to buy the larger version! No longer do I need to guess the amount in my old measuring jug or hold it up to the light to try and see the almost invisible markers. Just need to put the jug on the worktop and pour in the liquid and wait for it to reach the internal marker. What could be more simple. I note some reviews have commented on that you can't use the jug for mixing/whisking. No I wouldn't try to do that either, not because of the shape of it and being difficult, but because this jug is far too good to knock about and scratch with a whisk. It is a perfect pourer so easy to tip the contents into a cheapo plastic jug or bowl to whisk. Leave this jug for its main purpose - measuring Instructions say it is dishwasher safe. Not having a dish washer I wouldn't be able to comment on that type of washing, the good old kitchen with washing up liquid in brings it back to its sparkle. Instructions say it is microwave safe. By personal choice I have chosen not to use it in this way as it has a soft touch handle and as the jug is so good quality. I'm sure the instructions are correct but I would prefer to use it for measuring only. As above it is so easy to decant into a cheapo plastic jug or bowl rather than spoiling a perfectly excellent product. I did toy in getting a bigger size too, but why bother when you can just refill the jug accurately twice if you want to measure a litre!

Ce verre mesureur est vraiment pratique. d'une part, sa poignée anti-dérapante, permet une prise en main facile (qui n'a pas, parfois, les mains humides ou mouillées en cuisinant ou en faisant de la pâtisserie. Ensuite, j'apprécie le double système de lecture des données sur le côté et sur le haut. Quand on remplit un liquide, j'adore le faire de ne pas avoir à soulever et regarder si je suis au bon niveau. Là, il suffit de s'arrêter dès que le liquide arrive au niveau souhaité.

Nachdem unser alter Messbecher leider zerbrochen ist, musste ein neuer her. Der OXO Good Grips Ovaler Messbecher, 500 ml hat uns sofort überzeugt. Er liegt gut in der Hand und fühlt sich sehr wertig an. Besonders gefällt mir die Messskala, die auch von oben abgelesen werden kann. Das ist unglaublich praktisch und erleichtert das Abmessen erheblich. Ich kann diesen Messbecher nur empfehlen!

Très facile & pratique à utiliser. Bonne préhension grâce à la poignée ergonomique. Le bec verseur permet de vider avec précision. Les graduations sont bien visibles. Je suis globalement très satisfait du produit
