LOVARZI Desert Shemagh Scarf - Stylish & Versatile Fashion Scarf for Men & Women of All Ages

Excellent quality Shemagh. I already have a white one, my wife liked it and fancied a blue coloured one. I use this for when I'm spending time outdoors in hot weather. I soak it under a tap, wring the water out and wear it around my shoulders or as a long bandana. They also make a great warm scarf in the winter. The material is strong but very comfortable. The colors hold after washing at a sensible low temperature. Lastly they look great, I will definitely be buying them again.

My primary reason for purchasing this desert scarf (shemagh) was for its stylish appearance and being black & white in colour it suits just about any form of dress or colour combination. I have worn the scarf just about every day since it arrived and I have learnt one thing about it in the current cold spell, it is not as warm or as soft as scarves made from modern materials. It is also slightly course to the touch around the neck but this is soon forgotten when worn under a coat, say. I have been approached several times by strangers and asked where I obtained it and I sense their enquiries are based upon their wish to obtain one for themselves. I, too, have become sensitive to other people wearing them, mostly by women, but they remain an uncommon site in the UK. I think they maybe catching on though. The shemagh is more versatile than a simple western scarf. Being large and rectangular is can be worn as a head scarf and as a face mask which, of course, is what it was originally designed for, protection from sand storms and the hot desert sun. We do not suffer such extreme weather conditions in the UK which is why I will probably only wear it as a stylish neck scarf to keep out the wind and rain drops. I need to find out exactly how it is intended to be worn as a neck scarf because it is quite long and it hangs down below the waist where its tassels can be seen. I suspect it has to be looped around the neck at least once to be worn correctly. I have acquired a second shemagh, also 100% cotton but coloured olive/dark green & black, the colours worn by the British army and the SAS. However, the black & white shemagh from Lovarzi can be worn with any colour scheme whereas the green & black shemagh suits darker colours. If you want an usual, multifunction, stylish scarf then I can thoroughly recommend the Lovarzi shemagh.

Simply a great bit of versatile kit

I love these shemagh scarves, they are so soft and not too big or thick. I have tried others but returned because the quality wasn’t as good as these.

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste des foulards Palestinien mais je suis content du modèle que j'ai choisi, en blanc et noir . Il est très beau, de belles dimensions, 100% coton d'Inde, le tissus d'épaisseur normale . A porter de mille façons selon ses envies! Le prix est très correct au vue de la qualité , alors si ce foulard vous tente, n'hésitez pas!

Dopo il primo lavaggio il tessuto è decisamente confortevole e caldo (ambiente -5) ; rilasciato un po’ di colore al primo lavaggio (come detto da produttore) che nn ha intaccato gli altri. Decisamente promosso!!!
