Traditional Taste
I like the traditional taste of bamboo shoot in the seasoning and it tastes amazing with pork and chicken. Anyone who likes traditional recipes will appreciate it.

Gives a very good depth of flavor to veg & non veg curries
I mainly bought this for the health benefits of adding bamboo powder as it is incredibly good for bone and joint health. Also for health reasons we have stopped all red chilli and green chilli. So was looking for other Spice combinations to bring variety and taste.This masala was pleasantly surprising. I loved the depth it added with its smokiness without being overpowering like a typical garam masala. Also the red chilli added in here is not like the typical red chilli which is hot. It just gives a warm taste overall without burning your tongue. I specifically use it with chicken curry and also rajma and other bean curries. Even works really well with French beans made as dry subzi with this powder.

DISASTER . KINDLY STOP MAKING THIS PRODUCT
It's a powdered concoction of many spices like cumin and other stuff listed in ingredients. No trace of bamboo shoot. Smells like typical Indian spices. I'm from the north east and dang real disappointed. Smells like maggi masala.

The taste is horrible
I bought the product two months back and have used it 4 times, using small to big quantity but of no use. Firstly it taste nothing like bamboo shoot. As the product is in powder form the smell and taste and not there altogether of bamboo shoot. Pls don’t buy the product, total waste of money.
