It’s really good and it’s tiny! However, it’s 20A not 16A
Don’t miss out on this amazing little welder because you don’t know how electric works It’s small but it’s powerful, it came with the 16a plug which is fine if you’re using it in a workshop and have the sockets but it’s easy to swap to a standard domestic plug, I put a heavy duty standard UK plug on it with a 20A fuse, that will be fine for a standard UK twin socket which are tested at 20A and my whole sockets circuit supports 32a, because with welding it’s short bursts it’s pulsating rather than continuous current passing through the wiring so it’s not going to start a fire, it’ll hardly even warm the wiring, a fire is much more likely to happen from the welding arc or sparks. 16a is unfused and this machine is actually 20a so if you’re having problems check that! I initially installed it with a 13a fuse but I wouldn’t go higher than setting 7 then so had no issues with fuses blowing, if you’re worried about going over 13a that’s what you can do, otherwise you’ll obviously blow the fuse but then you’ll still have a 100a welder which you’ll be limited to anyway! It’s fine for beginners if you consider the above, it’s easy to use and lightweight. Not that I’m a beginner, I’ve been welding for 20 years and had many machines but this is a very good practical little one and is very flexible in all the ways you can use it I used it for welding car bodywork and also the exhaust and it worked great and went straight through the MOT I was welding all day with it with hardly any breaks and went through a few spools of wire, no issues whatsoever it did a great job

Overall... quite happy with this welder
Have had this a few months and so far, I am pleased with it. Was bought as an addition to my stick welder. First set-up took about 30mins from opening the box to being ready to play (and included a few glances at the instructions!!). First actual test use on non-project material found the 'near enough' power setting pretty quick as the auto-feed speed is dictated by the input setting for the power. I did find a few issues that I'm not 100% about.. first one was the feed length of the protruding wire... found it easier to keep track of when I used it without the pink end shroud hiding the copper tip but that could be my inexperience with wire feed welders.. but it's worked well since removing the shroud... the second is the amount of spatter.. getting a lot more than I would have expected. I have clean workpieces and don't use anti-spatter spray.. maybe I should! It came with a decent sized reel of flux-cored wire that I've not fully used and won't change it for the sake as it is doing a perfectly good welding job for what I want.. but when I do, I'll spend decent money on quality f/c wire and see if that could be the issue. The first big test was to repair the frame of a 3ftx4ft carry box at the rear of my tractor.. rotten box-sections to cut out and new ones to weld in place and I must say, the welder performed pretty well.. no overheats, no delays, no failures and in just a few hours I had the frame repaired and nice and strong once more(just need a few checkerplates to finish the job). As for the welder.. well, for the price, ease of set-up and use I am well impressed. Still not certain about the quality of the f/c wire supplied but have not tried anything else in it yet.

Amazed with this little thing to be honest
So, last time I mig welded was 30 years ago. I wanted to learn again (as well as tig via this, plus an ac/dc machine I've also ordered). I got this for just less than 100 quid - amazone prime day, plus another 20% voucher. so dirt cheap and was not expecting much. Out of the box, it is sooo tiny and light! Compared to the dustbin sized things from 30 years ago it amazing what a difference inverter technology has made. Anyway, it took 5 mins to setup with the flux cored wire included (remember to set electrode/torch negative for flux cored!). and I was welding away - really clear welds, good penetration on 3mm steel. a bit of splatter easily cleaned off with grinder. amazed by how far flux cored wire has come on too! So - it worked out the box, creates lovely clean welds. I've not tried MMA or TIG with it yet but will do soon. For less that 100 quid it really is a bargain. The person who gave a one star review as it had no plug.. 1. Its standard with welders to have fit your own commando 16a plug. 2. If you need an electrician to fit a plug, welding is probably not for you.

Easy to use and set up
Nice little welder haven't used it to much but easy to set up. Welds good for a novice... Hopefully it will continue to perform well for the cost 😁

not suggested
Can not create arc whenever you expect. Wire feeding is terrible, not constant rate feeding, sometimes it is stopping at the mid of operation.

Impressed so far and very compact size
Only learning to weld and bought this as it's a multi welder. Tried the MiG gasless and rod but not the other functions yet. So far so good, 13amp fuse pre fitted and works fine so far. Welds are nice and tidy. Only couple hours practice use so far but impressed by what it can do for it's surprisingly small size. Will bring it to welding course soon and ask ye man to give it a test run (he knows what to look for in a weld) Haven't got the tig attachments or gas yet but will get around to it when I get a chance

Cheap for a reason
Welds ok for a cheap machine. However I didn’t use it until about 8 months after I bought it and it only worked for about 15 minutes before it blew a fuse and tripped the electrics. Now it won’t work full stop
