Amazing
The light saber is amazing, the color is so vivid and realistically similar in the star wars movie. the sound features is amazing as well. Light and Easy to handle. I'm just hoping it can last long.

Great toy! Make sure you let it charge first
I originally wrote a scathing review, but I take it all back! I had not let it charge for long enough and assumed the lightsaber was defective. You have to let it charge for a solid 2-3 hours before you try turn it on, it will only make weird noises otherwise. It looks great! The colours are bright and it feels solid and it was a great hit at the party, every dude wanted one.Best £45 whatever pounds I ever spent

Good Affordable Entry Level Saber!
Not bad for an entry level lightsaber, a bit annoying having so many menu options operated by a single button but most modern sabers seem to have that. The RGB illumination is reasonable but compared to a neo pixel saber is a bit pale unless in a dark room. Not tested the durability but main blade seems pretty durable. The 4 holes to screw the blade into took me a while to find as they are tiny and blend in with the saber design.

Faulty after 6 months
My daughter bought this in March and it stopped working a few weeks ago. Won't turn on or charge. There is no information about who to contact in the event of a failure. Can this be replaced or refunded please

I definitely recommend
The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t break and it’s easy to assemble. If you get two you can make a double blade lightsaber but only one blade could be coloured. I would buy again it is great for the money!

Great fun.
The media could not be loaded. This is quite an impressive little item. You need to assemble it out of the box to begin with, with some tiny allen key screws so small children will need adult help with this. You also need to make sure you put the 'blade' in to the hilt the correct way around or you get poor results and it won't light up properly. Once it's fully assembled the collar the blade is bolted to can just be unscrewed so that you get an 'extended' or 'retracted' light sabre as you choose. There's a button on the hilt that turns it on, with the appropriate sound effect, and then repeated button presses changes the colour. A long press turns it off again. Swinging it about produces the iconic light sabre noise (although not exactly, presumably for copyright reasons!) and tapping it against objects does the same. The blade had a little bit of give and flex so whacking siblings with it will not do too much damage, either to the toy or to the sibling and the 'point' is rounded off. There are no sharp edges, but it's not suitable for very small children. It's bright enough to show up in day light, but at night it really does look fantastic. There is a constant 'whirrr' noise while it's turned on that adults may find grating after a time - see my video with the sound on to sample this.Charging is via USB, but it uses a proprietary port on the hilt to charge rather than a generic USB port. This is a bit annoying as the charger is bound to get lost at some point. It's a great toy and really does look fantastic and even the grown-ups will find it hard to resist waving it around with a 'you're not my father' speech.
