Works great for cleaning and water changes
Been using a siphon with a squeeze pump for years. Not the best, but it's what worked.I got this to clean a new Axolotl tank and WOW, this thing works great. Did a water change in no time, and can clean the tank without having to remove water since I can put the return hose back in the tank and then clean out the sponge filter. Speeds up the process quite a bit.

Terrible design and piece of junk
One, the switch is way down on the electrical cord. Trying to vacuum and turn it off is nearly impossible. Two, the drain cord is rigid and flops around. I tried to use the suction cup, but it didn't keep it attached to the bucket. End up with water shooting everywhere. Three does not work for any sand-based tank. The "filter" compartment immediately filled up with sand, and the entire thing was plugged up. My guess is the suction is too strong for sand bases. This means it should have a control on the pump to increase/decrease flow. Overall, very disappointed in the product.

Works great
Works great, easy to use, and relatively easy to assemble. I live that it can pump water out of my aquarium and back in from my floor, no more lifting buckets. It does need to be submerged to a certain point before motor will begin suction but over all fantastic!

Electric aquarium gravel cleaning set
This is my first time using an electric aquarium cleaner. I have three fish tanks at home. It used to take half an hour to change the water for each of the three fish tanks. Now it only takes ten minutes. It makes me more convenient and time saving! And it has other functions such as scraping algae. The material is durable and I'm quite happy with it!

It's ok
I wish it had a better suction feature for sand. My turtle poop a lot and dig in the sand-I though this would help get the debris under the sand but it did not. Although it did make water changing faster than manually doing it. If you want suction for sand get a different product.

Motor Quit on Second Use
I believe this is the fist review I've ever written. I have more of a life than to write reviews. But.I'm not an idiot. By that I mean I understand motors, and I know how to NOT fry them. I know not to run a motor like this while dry, for example. It worked well the first use. I cleaned it and put it back in the box.Second use I was about five minutes in, not more, and it quit. The motor went tits-up completely. It wasn't warm, it was submerged; it simply quit.I'm throwing it away and I am disappointed.Oh. And the suction is very bad.

Overpriced and Under-delivered, Not shocked
1) It comes in 30 pieces with the worst instructions ever2) Its a two person job with this thing, one to operate the switch and one to hold the cheap plastic tube3) Pump is stupid weak; wont pump water up more than a couple feet. Tall tank? Better find something to lift your water onto4) Just wait until the flow adjustment valve decides to blow off mid pumping; its like a free fountain inside your fish room.5) Just another piece of overpriced underwhelming piece of Chinese junk. Seems to be all Amazon is good for anymore.**6) go buy a new siphon, save $50, you’ll thank me

GREAT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING
This is my first experience using a powered gravel vacuum and I did not find it a big improvement over my old manual system. I have 5 tanks, all different sizes, and while the cleaner did work, it was slower and required more "passes" to get the same apparent gravel cleanliness. It was easily adjustable for different size tanks and the cleaner can be used for such chores as algae removal but I found the powered cleaner to be cumbersome for that in the smaller tanks. I discovered that I had to watch the water delivery hose from pulling off the cleaner itself, while the suction cup did keep the other end secured to the bucket. In addition the neck of the "manure cleaner" cracked the second time I used it - however, it did continue to work.If you wish to minimize the number of tools and do a good job keeping up with aquarium maintenance I think this system will be adequate.

Billigstes Hartplastik. Der 2. ging 2 Wochen später zu Bruch. Jeweils nicht unter Gewaltanwendung.

Wieder ein Gerät was wenig taugt.
