I love this stuff for a 'sleepy girl mocktail', and I think it really does help me sleep. For those who don't know a sleepy girl cocktail is this cherry juice, 2x magnesium glysinate supplements (without the capsule shell), lemonade and ice. I use san Pellegrino lemonade which makes it a little tart - perfect. These cherries are known for their benefits to aid sleep - somehow converting or promoting melatonin which is what makes us sleepy. This is very tart juice that can be diluted with just water if you like that mouth pursing tartness (I do), but when added with lemonade its incredible - I'm not sure if the sugar content of the lemonade cancels out the health benefits of the cherry juice though. oh. This is a 500ml bottle that will last a while as you only need a small amount of it, but it is expensive - when there's an offer on, the price becomes a lot more palatable. I'm not sure if there's added sugar in this or if it's just from the fruit but when I have it without lemonade I definitely feel a bit of a sugar spike - which isn't ideal before bed. I have given it four stars because of the lack of transparency around sugar/s and the price - we know that this was cheaper before it became 'Tik Tok famous'.

I purchased this for its melatonin content as i have difficulty sleeping, unfortunately it hasnt helped so far. However, it is absolutely delicious and i love it on yoghurt. Really concentrated sharp tart taste not too sweet, could be used on so many ways. This is a repeat order.

Love love love this juice! Although it’s a bit sour for me. I’ve had plantar fasciitis in my foot for over a year and despite going to a nhs physio and a private physio and doing the regular exercises that were given to me by the physios I have finally had relief from it. I felt an ease in the pain after three days. A friend recommended it to me as she had the same condition and it worked for her. What have you got to lose?

Update: 20th February. My last order was a disappointment. The colour, taste and look didn't compare to previous orders. This time the juice was a reddy brown, quite thin and didn't coat the glass. It had lost its fresh sharpness. The big disappointment was that two messages to Wellgard were not answered so 2* lost. Over the years I've tried a number of supplements (magnesium, iron etc) to see if they offered any relief. They didn't. Then Itried Wellgard Cherry Juice and am sleeping much better. Now I've no way of telling if this juice is alleviating symptoms or just helping me to sleep so the symptoms are ignored. But it doesn't matter. Either way the results are positive. It's worth a try.

Seems to be as good as what I previously ourchased and a fraction of the price. Healthy. Do good for people with gout as well!! Many hidden benefits.
