I read everyone’s reviews and I decided to risk it. Glad I did. Absolutely love it!Complaint: Item arrives with some white/grey substance on it.Yes it did! It wipes right off. Should I have to do it?? No. It took 10 seconds to remove. Not a deal breaker for me.Complaint: There’s issues with the lid fitting.The ashtray looks square. It’s not. One side is ever so slightly longer. Sooo if the lid doesn’t fit you have it the wrong way.Complaint: It comes with unnecessary plastic that is difficult to remove.Complaint: You have to assemble.I didn’t assemble anything. It came completely made. Although if I had to add the knob it wouldn’t be a deal breaker.The plastic is keeping the tray protected from getting tarnished while not in use. If you slightly pull on the plastic. You may have to wiggle while pulling. You’ll see the entire tray comes out with the plastic around it. It’s a bag.Overall I love the ashtray. I love that the tray comes out so I can dump it and wash it. Very well made. Hides smell of ashtray very well. Can’t even tell it’s an ashtray.None of the above complaints are deal breakers for me but I get everyone is different. I also understand that maybe others got a messed up item and this is just my experience. Came faster than notified. Definitely recommend.

Nice looking ashtray, made well and I love the lid.

This ashtray is so adorable and no one realizes it's an ashtray until I open it lol. It keeps the smell contained when the lid is closed and it's super easy to clean. Great quality for the price

Really like as it has a lid

It’s lovely ! It’s deeper than expected which is nice and well made . Everything fits snugly. Be careful when opening because for some reason there is plastic on the inner gold piece which was very difficult to pull out in order to remove the plastic which means it will be difficult to pull out to clean . But that ok because I like that it fits so snuggly . The top is also a snug fit so you have to push it a little to close , also ok with that . It did however arrive slightly damaged ( not due to shipping ) but again I’m ok with that . Just things I wish I’d known even tho I would have purchased it anyway

If you don't like looking at ashes....and don't like the look of regular ashtrays....then this is for you!!! The wood is quite pretty. It's a simple classic design. And the inner tray easily removes for cleaning. Has been a great addition to our table.

Warped on the bottom so it spins and doesn't sit flat. The metal bowl isn't correct size, you have to shove it in and it sits higher than the ledge so the lid doesn't sit on top properly. The lid isn't square so inevitably it takes several tries to get the lid lined up. Just trash all the way around. Embarrassed I spent 14.99 on it. Don't make my mistake, skip this one.

Great for holding doobies in the van down by the river. Love the natural wood look. Very durable.
