One year update**
Product is well constructed and quiet. Bought as a replacement blower for a Vogelzang Colonial fireplace insert. WAY cheaper than manufacturers blower unit and it does fit nicely into the existing blower housing with only slight modification. More powerful blower as well. Hopefully it will hold up better than the OEM model which I have gone through 3 in 2.5 years. Bearings go bad very quickly in the OEM and after repacking them several times they finally give up the ghost. I will repost when I get significant hours on this unit from Pay and Pack and provide an update.**UpdateHave used this fan for one full heating season for Vogelzang woodburning fireplace insert. Unlike the OEM units that were expensive and didn't hold up, this unit has and continues to perform flawlessly. Excellent product.

After Market Blower Only BKT GA3750
I purchased a name brand blower for my parents at almost $300. When my blower of 6 years quit working, I did not want to spend that much money on a replacement, so I looked around and found this one. It was much cheaper and as far as I can tell, works about the same as the expensive one I purchased for the folks. My set-up enables adjustment of the fan speed and has the thermostat, which kicks the blower on when temps reach 100 degrees. This purchase was for the blower only, without the rheostat and thermostat pieces since I already had them. The noise level is good; I keep mine at slightly higher than the mid-range point. Turned up all the way, it is obviously louder, but nothing terrible. It is quieter than my previous no name brand fan that utilized fans similar to what you would see in a tower computer. My flatscreen is mounted over the mantel and the noise level does not interfere with the TV volume that much at all. I've used it off and on for about a month, and overall I would recommend this blower if you want to save some money.

it works perfect
I wont say what stove i have due to the fact that this product was not a part listed as a replacement. That being said, other discontinued fan assemblies had listed for 300 to 400 {yes, hundreds} and werent even availble. I purchased this unit because it looked closest to the motor i needed for my pellet stove. It arrived earlier than expected, packaged great, and when i started looking at how i could modify it for my needs, it was the exact same part i took out. Truthfully, I tapped three holes {threaded with a tap} transferred the mounting plate to the new fan. It fit perfectly. I started reading up on the wiring thinking that id probably end up hotwiring it somehow. Its set up to turn on at 120 and off at 90 degrees. {dont quote me on the exact numbers} . in a very short time the fan was back in, i started the stove, and damed thing worked , its been running for 4 days, only stopping for ash cleaning. Now, I do hear the fan running but not enough to bother me, i know its working at least. and even if it only lasts a season, im fine with that, ill buy 3 more just to keep. so in a nut shell. outstanding purchase

Very simple to install
I was replacing a 35 year old Majestic fireplace blower assembly . The new one was rated at approximately 1/2 the original CFM . I was skeptical that it was going to be satisfactory . The new unit was better constructed and even though it was only a single blower wheel whereas the original was a double , I am completely satisfied with the new unit . It makes me think that the original blower unit was claiming more CFM than it was delivering . It’s slightly less air flow but much quieter . I wouldn’t give up the quiet for MORE CFM .

Probably better options out there.
Not very quiet and didn’t blow much air. Spend a little more money for higher quality blower. You won’t regret it.

Seems to be a decent unit
I purchased this to replace an existing and very NOISY fireplace insert fan. Unfortunately the motor assembly is too big for the application. Did not realize until the following year when I went to install it. Disappointing.

Good For The Price
Found this blower while searching for something less noisy than the one I had. I've had it installed for 3 weeks now. The install was easy and it's working fine for it's price and air flow rating. I'm very pleased with the noise level, it's a very quiet blower, however, if you are looking for something that puts out a lot of air you might want to keep looking as this unit doesn't provide a lot of air flow, enough for my purposes. All in all, for the price it's a good buy.

Replacement for Quadra-Fire 4100
Can confirm this blower can fit the Quadra-Fire 4100 wood insert. I would consider boycotting Quadra-Fire as their factory replacement blowers are highway robbery. However if you need a replacement blower this one will work after rotating the motor 180 degrees. It is just a couple screws and if you are mechanically inclined, it is obvious what needs to be done. I think it is quieter than the factory blower.
