This stuff is amazing. I am using it a little different than intended, I think, but I can see how it would be fantastic for its intended purpose. I work in a medical field where I have to scrub and sterile glove. A couple of weeks after a really bad finger injury (bone deep cut, finger nail torn off), without this product I would not have been able to work. I used this to create a barrier over the injury (can not use band-aids during sterile scrub). The Opsite does not allow water to pass, so I was able to wash normally without pain or getting the stitches wet. The Opsite basically became a new 'skin'. After washing with soap and water, we use a waterless surgical gel. There was no adverse interaction with the Opsite and no pain at the wound site. A positive side benefit was that, while the Opsite did not made the healthy skin under it white and wrinkly from moisture (like a band-aid will), it did keep the scabbing moist and hurried healing. It also comes off healthy skin easily, but removes unnecessary debris. Great stuff!

The size is great and they are relatively easy to aapply. i use it to kep my glucose monitor sensor in place and protected.

These are awesome. I use them to keep a patch I have to wear on 24/7. They are waterproof and have saved me a lot of money on my medical patches, since they aren't falling off in the shower anymore. Will definitely be stocking up on these when I can.

Being a retired nurse, op-sites are great. Cover burns, blisters--helps heal from inside without contamination of the wound!

I have used this Smith and Nephew Opsite Flexigrid for years to hold my insulin pump catheter in place and it has not let me down. I feel confident in its sterility and its secure attachment to my skin.

It took me 30 minutes to finally make this stick to my skin. Once it was finally settled it stayed on and kept the moisture out when I showered.

Smith and nephew is a great company. I would recommend.
