Bought for blind spot feature…did not work!
I have a Lincoln MKS and my mirror had blind spot assyst, dimming, and was heated. I’m not positive but I think the heating unit looks like it bit the dust. The mirror is a hazy yellow now and was extremely hard to see through. I ordered this specific mirror because it was supposed had the blind spot area for the light to still be see. I could deal without the other two features. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. The mirror came with no instructions I had to go back to the page to find info on how to install it. The sticky adhesive had a square notched taken out in a weird spot and a section that was perforated for what I’m guessing was the blind spot light. I had to pull that piece off. The page said to place it directly on the existing mirror. I cleaned my mirror and aligned it as best I could in hopes the light from the blind spot sensor would still light up. As of today’s test drive that is not the case. I wish there had been instructions on how to assure that would work. Anyways, I now have a mirror I can see out of, but the other original features are no longer functional. I would not buy it again.
