I hesitated on buying this product reading all the reviews about low heat level. However, I still decided to try it because I cannot find better options. I just received my product and tried it. On level 3, I already feel burning hot. I had to turn it down to 2 to feel comfortable. The key to feel the heat is to adjust the neck tightness. It is worth mention that I'm using it during summer time. Winter might be different. This product is very effective around the neck, though I do want to say that it is not as effective for the shoulder because it's not weighted enough for the heat to transfer on the two sides. If I lean against couch back or press down on the side with my hand, it does feel the heat better, but the product description says not to lean against anything? But I guess I'm going to do it anyway because I need shoulder soothing.In conclusion, if you need this product for soothing neck, go for it. It's got good heat, and the material is comfy for the skin. However, If you need this product for shoulder, you might be slightly disappointed. You still feel the heat on the shoulder, just not as much as your neck.

Some reviews say that this does not heat up enough, however to me level 4 is plenty warm, and I even have to turn it down to 3 after a bit of time. It heats up very well in the neck area, but it doesn't seem to heat up as much in the shoulder/back portion of the heating pad. I wish the magnetic closure would allow me to overlap the front to get a tighter fit for my small frame. I can overlap it, but there's no snap or magnet to keep it closed. I like that it has some type of metal band in the neck that allows you to squeeze it to make a snug fit. The material is nice and soft, and the whole thing is flexible, not stiff like my old cheap heating pad.

I really liked this product and it had a great fit around the neck because of the adjustable metal bar inside the neck area. It was soft and had good heat output. For me, I decided I needed something that went all the way down my back, but I wish they made this exact same one that was longer! This will heat the top of your shoulders and neck, but it just misses the area between my shoulder blades, and I am a very small woman. If you are just looking for top of shoulders and neck, this is perfect, but if you need more of back heat, this one won't do it.

I purchased this heating pad when I began having cervicogenic headaches awhile ago. I needed something that would get right on the joints that were causing my issues. Regular heating pads require awkward angles to get them situated on the right spot or you just have to lie down. With this one, I can sit in the big chair and feel the heat surround my shouders and neck while still being able to socialize in my house. The heat has 4 levels to choose from, I use the highest and it is perfect for me. I have also used it to treat physical anxiety symptoms- 20 minutes a day on my neck and shoulders has almost eliminated the horrible muscle knots I used to have all over my back, and helped calm my body down. Bottom line- this heating pad is amazing for anyone suffering from chronic joint and muscle pain in the shoulders, upper back, spine, and neck! It has changed my life and helped me so much with managing pain, and it is so well made and convinient to use!

Experiencing a cervical herniated disk where the pain extends to my left shoulder to my upper back/spine so heats been my best source for pain relief. I was using a small heating pad that needed constant position adjustment when I decided to get a proper cervical heating pad with shoulder coverage.I wasn’t all that happy with the product since I wanted aside from day pain relief to also be able to sleep in for my pain during the night but it’s just too uncomfortable and bulky to do so.The heat doesn’t distribute anywhere besides the neck area so all the heavy extra cloth simply is a waste and also uncomfortable.If you don’t enjoy a little extra weight I don’t recommend this. Not that it’s heavy but it does apply pressure with the extra wasted material.There’s little hard microbeads at the ends of the pad all around which make it also uncomfortable to rest your back to a chair or anything for that matter.There’s an adjustable bending wire in the neck area to tighten or loosen but it doesn’t stay in place for more than a few minutes and goes back to its original form.Besides those negative features, if you just wanted short term heat for the back and sides of your neck while standing or not caring for an annoying lump from the microbeads on your back this product will do.The quality is nice and exterior material I decently soft. The magnet to clip the front is a cool idea and convenient. The cushion in the neck area is comfortable. You could fold the extra flap material with microbeads at the end while laying so it isn’t poking your back.Decent product but had to write my honest review to inform those using it for medical and physical aid/resource.

I got this mainly because I was about to have a lot of dental work where I would have my mouth open for 4-5 hours straight every 2 weeks for 2 months to get all this dental work done. I also have back injuries and fibromyalgia and I tend to flare up the most in my shoulders and neck area. I knew I would probably be in more pain in my shoulders and neck than in my mouth so I ordered this heating pad and I’m so glad I did! It really helped me heal and speed up the recovery between each appointment. Without this I would have been totally miserable.

This product has been a huge help for me in reducing the severity and number of headaches I get. I like things HOT, so this is only okay for me, but the average person will be quite happy. At the end of the day, this still gets 5 stars because of having the desired result in reducing muscle tension. So much better than the microwave pads: no odor and no re-heating! I'd recommend this, and I have had a rectangular Sunbeam heating pad for 7 years without issues so I expect this new shoulder heating pad to last well too.Update after 2 years of using: I use it at least 2x weekly on high, still works great. I am grateful for the 2 hour shut-off feature since I've fallen asleep with it on before.

Este producto lo compre para relajar mediante calor el cuello y los hombros. Muy buen producto, se ajusta a la forma de los hombros. Tiene 4 niveles de calor. Desde el nivel más bajo ya empiezas a sentir un calor relajante. Fácil de colocar y de transportar. Lo recomiendo
