SheaMoisture Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Apple Cider Vinegar & Salicylic Acid For Removing Buildup System For A Healthier Scalp 13 Oz

So I am actually using both the shampoo and conditioner, and so far, these products seem to be helping my issue. I randomly got this very, VERY dry flaky spot on the upper part of one of my sideburns maybe the size of a dollar coin. I truly had (and still have) no idea what it was or if it was even related to dandruff, but decided to try a couple of anti-dandruff shampoos (i.e. Head & Shoulders, and Selsun Blue) which both failed. Then I found this product along with the conditioner, and decided to try it out. At the time of writing this, tomorrow will be a week using these products together and already I am seeing GREAT improvement; the flakes have significantly decreased to where none actually fall when I scratch (which most definitely was not the case for weeks) and the itchiness also is ~95% better. Additionally, I have noticed a great feel to my hair (I have thick, straight, course hair for anyone interested in knowing), and while I do keep it short most of the time, it grows fast so I can still feel the difference. It seems softer and definitely feels clean. Lastly, my biggest worry was the apple cider vinegar considering I HATE the smell of vinegar, but it is actually very mild, and overall the scent is nice. So to anyone also considering that, this definitely does not have a vinegar scent to it. I definitely recommend, even to those not suffering with dandruff; The ingredients seem pretty good and it is helping my hair, not just my scalp.

I have a mix of 2c-3a hair, depends on how its feeling, med thick and low porosity. Most shampoo and conditioners dont work well for my hair but ive found many anti-dandruff versions work best with that hair combo. This one is probably the one im settling on for now!

This product has made my scalp much happier. I workout daily, but only wash scalp every other day. My scalp was starting to get itchy (probably from sweat), so I switched to this shampoo and the itch is gone even on day 2. However.... I have to shampoo 3 times to be sure that my whole scalp got shampooed. This product is incredibly difficult to spread through your hair. I have to use so much of the product that I would have to re-buy much more often than other shampoos. I already hate the process of washing my hair and how long it takes. So, the fact that I have to wash so many times with this makes my showers even longer. For that reason, I won't be repurchasing (despite my scalp and hair feeling great).

I like that SheaMoisture Anti-Dandruff Shampoo uses natural ingredients and feels gentle on the scalp. It has a pleasant scent and doesn’t dry out my hair like some medicated dandruff shampoos. However, while it helped reduce itching, it didn’t completely eliminate my dandruff even after consistent use. It works okay for mild dandruff, but may not be strong enough for more stubborn flakes. Overall, it’s a decent option if you prefer a more natural formula, but results may vary.

Smells pretty good. So far hasn’t made my hair oily I haven’t really seen improvement with my dandruff. My scalp isn’t as itchy, I did use something before so this has really kept similar results.

I’ve used the product for about two weeks now and it has not helped with the dandruff and if anything has made my head more itchy. I have naturally thick and already pretty soft hair, but after using the product, my hair does not feel soft anymore. I would not recommend it.
