This is a lovely toy! Probably my favourite lamaze piece!It doesn't actually do that much and in the shops it is grossly overpriced but it is so sweet and smells fabulously of vanilla!!You can play tunes on the legs but that is definately a task for momma bear as the legs are quite hard to squeeze. The handle at the top is crinkly so little ones love to squeeze and munch on it!All in all it is brightly coloured to stimulate vision, smells to stimulate sense of smell, noisy for sense of hearing, is covered in so many different textures for touch, the only thing you can't do with it is eat it!!Winner!!

This is a good toy which I bought for my daughter from 4 months old. I have to say the bright colours are attractive and she likes to munch on it as she is teething! However there is no way she is able to play any tunes as you have to squeeze the legs quite hard to get the sound so I guess it is for older tots. Mum likes it alot though and is getting quite good at playing tunes which always brings a smile to my daughters face. The smell is pleasant as well.

I bought this because id seen it on eastenders and thought it looked good. It came and i couldnt be more happier with it! i initially thought each tentacle played a different tune musically (the description is quite deceiving) but it plays a diiferent note when the tentacles are squeezed, so it is really better for an older baby rather then a younger baby. But my daughter (6 months old) absolutely loves it and it smells gorgeous. She cant play the notes yet so i have tro do that for her but the excitement when i play it for her makes it worthwile. Its a lot bigger then it looks in the pics aswell which i thought made it even better value for money. Id definately reccomend it :-)

This is a really lovely item, well made, great textures, cute smiley face. However, like some of the other reviewers, the legs on mine are not tuned to enable you to play the songs in the song book and online. I am not sure my little one really minds, but a bit of a shame for an otherwise lovely toy.

I bought this for my 5 month old son and he LOVES it. It is quite big and it is tough to squeeze the notes out so all he can really do at the momment is touch it and watch while me or his dad do it for him. The colours are great and the rubber gives it a chocolate like smell.Even though he can not quite "work" it himself, it still NEVER fails to make his smile and laugh. Looks beautiful in his nursery too. Delivered quickly and looks how it does on here. Well worth the money.

After adding lots of girly toys to my basket for my baby daughter my husband put his foot down and insisted on adding the Octotunes to my order, and I'm so glad he did. It is a lot larger than the other Lamaze toys but it is a lot of fun, my baby daughter giggles so hard whenever we play with the Octotunes, and it is nice to have something a bit different and a bit musical to play with but without the fuss of batteries etc. It seems very well maid and I can see it lasting a long time, and my baby (and husband) love it very much so I'm really happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my little girl as she loves Lamaze toys. The toy arrived very quickly, however I was really disappointed to find that it didn't have the vanilla scent it described. One of the main reasons why I bought this toy. However Amazon did refund part of the money for the toy as it was missing the vanilla scent. My daughter loves this toy and loves when I squeeze the tentacles and play the different tunes you can play with the tentacles. It is a little big and heavy for my daughter to grab (she's only 4 months) but she loves staring at it and when I squeeze the tentacles. She will probably play with it some more when she is older.

I bought this as a present for my niece and she absolutely loves it. I had to pry it off my sister-in-law of course after she fell in love with the smell!My neice is perhaps a little young to get the full enjoyment out of the song capabilities of the legs, but she loves the bright colours and smell, and will hopefully grow to use the legs in time.It will be interesting to see how long the smell lasts (as a bonus) but so far I would absolutely recommend this present to anyone :)
