Does this clear Limescale..?

I use this and/or other descaling and cleaning powders every few weeks in the machine without any washing in on a hot or hygiene cycle and use Calgon with every wash I hope all of this helps keep the machine free of limescale and any gunge build up especially as we live in a very hard water area but I have no way of knowing as I can’t see inside the machine but I would like to think it helps I also dry out the machine and wipe any water off after each wash to prevent limescale marks and I also drain out the overflow and remove any debris from the valve every few weeks as well

How do I clean the rubber rim

I personally use Cillit Bang black mould remover. I spray it on kitchen roll and tuck it in the rubber rim. Leave it for a couple of hours and the mould has gone.

do i need to empty the contents of the paper sachet into machine or put in the whole paper sachet ????

Open box. Cut paper. Pour contents into machine. Hot wash.
