Yes, I've purchased many kettles and this one seems to be the best.Not only can you see the level of water inside but it has an attractive blue light which indicates whether it's either heating the water or maintaining its temperature.The other two features I absolutely love about this is the ability to have different heat levels if you're creating different styles of coffee, you'd want them at different temperatures. This has a single button to boil or heat the water at a particular temperature. Once you reach your desired temperature, it automatically shuts off. There is an additional button that keeps the water at your desired temperature, keeping it warm until you're ready to use it.However the absolute best feature is the cap at the top which swings open 90° to the top, allowing you to use the tap without the water splashing on the falling cap. Watch out for this has not many other kettles have this, their caps stop it around 45° to 50°. I've sent so many kettles back because of this.The one improvement that I would recommend is to keep the base heavy; this base is slightly flimsy. However, it works well otherwise.

I ordered this glass kettle to replace our old plastic one, and reduce the amount of plastic in our kitchen. After several weeks I can say that it works very well. It looks nice on the counter and matches my white kitchen. I use the kettle to heat up water for tea and to pour into a pot for pasta. The water heats up well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a glass kettle.

Kettle will heat 20 oz of water at room temp in about 3 mins.The strainer on the lid is made of plastic - needs to be changed. To avoid hot water passing over the plastic, you have to raise the lid one click. Two clicks in a 90% angle for easy cleaningMake the entire bottom of the lid and strainer stainless steel so that no water passes over any plastic and this would be a good kettle at this price point.Another design annoyance is that the lid does not flip open via a thumb press. You have to disengage the locking mechanism on the lid. How hard would it be to put a lid lever on the top of the handle and move the "on - off" switch lower down or to the base?Also, the kettle lacks a off function when boiling has been reached., so be careful

Do not buy Pukomc products. At first the simple design, fast boiling, and auto shut off meant a perfect kettle, NOT SO. Not only did each of 2 kettle stop working within the first year, Amazon does not allow returns after a few months, nor does Amazon provide a contact info, even on the hosted Pukomc storefront. Web search got me only to a sales page. Amazon’s credit card has a “double your warrantee” feature, but no way to use it, or use the in-tact manufacturer’s warrantee. Stay clear of Pukomc. Do better, Amazon. I usually sing your praises. Not this time.

We use an electric kettle every day. The one we had before had a terrible spout that got water everywhere when you tried to gently pour it. This one pours like a dream. It’s almost impossible to spill any. I love the blue LED lights that come on when it’s heating water and I love that you can lift it off the base easily. The previous kettle had to be slammed down on the receiver several times to get it to connect. I also love that the water reservoir portion is clear glass so you can see how much water you have at all times. Also, the bottom of the kettle is a hard plastic that does not heat up, so you can set it on the counter without burning it. It heats the 1.7 L of water very quickly too. All in all, this is one of my best purchases this year.

Value for money, auto shut off, easy-to-use, great size. Perfect if your in a small place. Great for teas and soups if you don't have a stove. Would definitely buy again. Have had mine 4 years now.

This pot has increased marital harmony and is better-sized for our current coffee pot. My wife doesn't care for metal electric pots, so glass makes her happier. She can also clean this pot more easily than the metal pot it replaced. It's also more attractive (less of an eye-sore) than the pot it replaced. It's much more visibly appealing in action. It has a blue light in the base when the power is on and you can see activity in the water as it increases to a rolling boil. The handle is easy to hold and pour. It's a little slower than the metal pot it replaced. If filled to the 1.7 liter mark, it boils 55 degree tap water in 9 minutes.
