As always, perfect lunch box
I would never buy anything else to store lunches in, bought this for my partner due to a bigger appetite, can fit a well portioned meal in the bottom and fill the top half with fruits. I love that this one comes with an additional smaller strap too unlike the original monbento, so you can take one half in. Can be popped into dishwasher or easily cleaned by hand, great for microwaving, and I've never had a spill from these products in my 2 years of constantly using them.

Big and box-like.
Awesome.Good size for my foodzies, I eat a lot. Two boxes is ideal for me. A good solid plastic too, microwaved many times for long periods and there is absolutely no warping. It is also pretty good at keeping air tight.I will be buying again as I am pretty lazy at washing up.

A solid lunch-set, albeit at a premium.
So I've been using the Monento bento box for about a month now and it's been an excellent companion the entire time!Firstly, out of the box you get 2x boxes, 2x box lids, 2x elastic-fabric bands (in the event you only want to take one of the boxes, or both), a single 'external' lid and a single smaller trench useful to keep foods separate, or to contain things like nuts / eggs. The generous size of these boxes as well means it will feed even the hungriest of people. In terms of water / air-tightness I've only ever had one minor accident which was entirely my fault (I'd pulled the stopper out and then didn't push it back in when I placed it in my bag). I've carried various lunches / breakfasts of thinner to thicker consistencies liquid-wise and I've not had any leaks. Considering I've even had the box upside-down once for an entire morning filled with liquid (alongside solids) and nothing came out I was mighty impressed.Cleaning wise it's also incredibly easy to clean, a bit of hot water and a light wiping and it's good to go again. The only real downside I've found as far is you have to somewhat take care when using a knife, or even a fork in the box. The coating (similar to other microwave-steam-pots available on Amazon) seems to come away without too much effort so I'm not entirely sure what the long-term ramifications will be with this. Ideally you'd only want to carry food that can be used with a fork or to avoid pressure directly on the base of the box. Plastic cutlery, though more wasteful in an eco sense may be better in this situation as well.Considering the price you pay (£25-£30 at time of writing) the Monbento certainly is a premium product with premium qualities. The only thing that lets it down is the fact the coating seems to come away easier than it should, but that could equally be down to me being heavy-handed.Overall, it is fair to say this is probably the best lunch-set I've ever owned and I'd be strongly inclined to buy another if something were to happen to my current set.

Owned for around a year and a half
Fantastic product, love the look of it, very practical, never had any leaks. Being using this with the metal cutlery for over a year and its held up really well. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Perfection!
Yes, This is what I've been looking for all of my working life! Enough room to put two meals in (I'm a nurse and work 14 hour days). It did leak soup from the side once but I think it's the way I put the lid on in a rush! Very smart, very good.

A handsome box
Had to return it all the way from UK to France which was a VERY EXPENSIVE experience. Unfortunately I found it difficult to separate the boxes as the lugs were practically non-existent and, as it is a large square box, there was nowhere to grip it so as to prise the boxes apart. I could not open it easily at all. Still, for people who do not find this issue a problem, it would be a great size lunch box.

Ah Bento!
I was a bit sceptical about spending this much money on what is essentially a plastic box. However it has been really useful. The size works when I want a two part lunch with soup and rice and also when I want to just fill one layer with rice and bits. The little steam vents work well. The bands work to keep everything together in my work bag and the close fit of the lids means there is little chance of spillage even when transporting liquids. Some of the other monbento accessories aren't great, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with their main bento box products.

Amazing Bento Box
This is a fantastic lunch box. Usable as a single or a double story and can transport saucy foods with no leaks. There is even enough clearance under the lid to store a small spork or napkins. Brilliant!
