Med Spec Tee Pee Thumb Protector, Black - Large

This is my 3rd med spec thumb support. I ordered Large size this time, previous two were Medium. I think the medium size fits better however my thumb gets cold from no circulation. I’ll try Large size for a while to gauge overall support.

I have arthritis in the base of my L thumb and need surgery. I have worn this brace for over a year and it greatly decreases the joint pain and rubbing of the bones. the material is soft and looks good. I wear this thing everywhere. the only thing negative is that the stretchy velcro strap is too long and needs trimming to your size and then I put superglue on the end so it doesnt unravel. this brace only restricts the thumb, if you need the whole wrist there is a longer one that is just as good (I have it too). the longer one is more uncomfortable.

I am very impressed with how durable they are. A brace on your hand get very dirty. I just it them in the washer with cold water stuff and air dry them they are holding up great.

When my husband has arthritic pain in his thumbs (due to working with his hands for years as an electrician), he puts these on when going to bed and his pain is reduced -- allowing him to sleep comfortably.

I possibly need a smaller size.

Fairly comfortable so able to wear it as long as I feel the need, it has proved to be very helpful
