So I was a little leary of ordering something as large as a bathtub on Amazon! Haha But I couldn’t find one locally and I REALLY had my heart set on one. I actually didn’t realize that they even existed until a veteran friend of mine told me that he likes it because it relaxes his back after he was injured. It has a seat so he can sit up in it instead of lying down. I like the idea of it because I’m not a fan of my feet and shoulders sticking out of the bathtub. I wanted to be submerged. It also doesn’t take up a large footprint in the bathroom floor plan. It took a little longer to arrive than I expected, however, it was worth the wait. The packaging was sooooo sturdy! The build quality of the tub is fabulous. It is sturdy and looks great! It is extremely heavy and I think it took 3 to 4 guys to get it up our stairs, but then again, we only had to do it once so it was worth it. It is the star of my new bathroom and I get so many compliments on it. I’m so happy with my purchase! Oh, and it came with a little stool!

Have used this for a about a year. So far so good! I was apprehensive buying something this expensive online but I had little options for the size I was searching for. This seems heavy, and solid. The other ones available can be pushed around with just a hip against the tub. We wanted something more stable that didn't cost $10,000! Love the depth and the small footprint. VERY comfortable. I'm 5' 115 lbs but my husband who is 6' 2" fits in it as well. We had a very tiny bathroom that consisted of a sink and toilet. Thought this would look great in the corner! While remodeling our other bathroom, I took baths every day. Since I'm a traditional shower girl I had to get a hose that attached onto the end of the faucet so I could rinse my hair with fresh water. Now it's complete. LOVE it! Pic attached is of the bathroom that is not finished yet with painting, lights, etc. And all our junk is lying around. Am getting a nice teak towel holder or maybe just shelving once its complete. Also hanging light etc.

I ended up returning it because it was not right for my space, but this tub is beautiful. I love the black and I imagine it would be stunning in a bathroom.

Took a while to come, but I am happy with it. I am 5'9 and 145 lbs. I was looking for a soaking tub that I could relax in, but did not take forever to fill. This is perfect for relaxing. I can sit up with water over my chest. It is very heavy, so that is important to know. The only thing I have as a concern is the texture is a bit different, not shiny at all, more dull. It is not as easy to clean as a standard tub, but it does come clean.

Fits nicely in a 60” alcove with room to get a broom or mop around it. Not quite gloss finish, more like eggshell or satin. Pay attention to how tall even the low end is- not all fillers will work but tall ones are readily available. Our GC reinforced our floor because this design concentrated the same water weight on a smaller footprint. We have a separate walk-in shower.
