Bakers Sizzlers Dog Treats Bacon 120g - Case of 6 (720g)

My springer spaniel absolutely loves these, but my cat loves them too, so I always find I have to break a small amount off for Charles the cat! I never give him more than about a centimetre as I don’t want to make him poorly. By that, I mean I don’t know if this product is too rich for cats! Ever since the Felix range of dog treats have been available, I’ve spoilt my dog with everything Purina makes, in the way of treats.The Bacon sizzlers, I would say is probably my dogs favourite, I’ve not tried the beef sizzlers yet as I’m still trying to get my head round that one but I feel sure that Mollie the dog would still enjoy them. But it seems this bacon variety ticks every box for Mollie, as when she’s eating her treats, especially this one, she holds her head high as she eats and I just know by the look on her face just how much she enjoys them. She does this with all her treats but every time I offer her a selection, she sniffs her bacon out and eats that first. I’m sure if she could talk like us , she’d be telling us exactly what I believe her to be saying.All in all this product is a well made treat,which although smells strong to me , I can tell it’s bacon. It’s not too rich for my dog so I know it’s kind on her tummy and digestive tract. It also doesn’t appear to upset Charles, neither do gravy bones which my cat loves too! My only problem with th bacon sizzlers is the amount you get in a standard size packet for the expensive price we have to pay. Like most things, I’m guessing it doesn’t cost Purina a huge amount to make these treats , but to make a profit on them , they are highly priced to the person buying. Then if you are buying from a retail store, again the price increases! I cannot always afford to buy for my dog. Even on the subscribe and save on Amazon, the price needs to drop a lot. It wasn’t so long ago that I was paying around £5-£6 for a box of six. Now that has jumped up to about the £10 mark. It’s only because I love my dog so much that she is treated with all Purina sells, from her complete meal to all the treats that are sold. So in fairness to the product itself, I have to award 5 stars, though if I was going to score overall including the price, the five stars would probably go down and award only 3 stars.

My Border Terrier loves these treats, he will do anything to get a reward for these.

Bought these for our springadore Mylo and he loves them! They make a great soft treat that makes a change from biscuits and feel more like a treat when giving them to him. If your dog loves treats, these will be a sure thing!

My dog adores these treats! I use just one per day, carrying it around in a pocket and breaking a piece off whenever he deserves a reward. The smokey bacon smell is quite pronounced and they are shaped like streaky bacon rashers. They are easily breakable due to their soft consistency and are therefore very easy for a dog to chew - which should make them ideal for dogs with dental problems. I buy these as a six packet box on Subscribe and Save, so that I don't run out and they cost me less than buying individual packets. I don't buy many Bakers dog products, but believe them to be a reputable company. As a dog, bacon is one of my favourite foods but sometimes my humans says bacon is bad for me, so I said get some dog friendly bacon then! This they did and god I love these treats!The second I hear the packet open and get a whiff of that strong bacon goodness I’m there at my owners’ feet to receive a strip. Sometimes I wish that the packet would fall on the floor and that I can sneak it into my bed and eat all the bacon in one go!I’m glad my humans got a big supply they are great value but I don’t think that it will last me as long as the humans had planned! I’ll be barking for owners to order more soon!!!
