I've never chopped wood in my life and don't have any plans to do so anytime soon so i cant speak for the actually usability of this thing but it sure looks good on my shelf

I love this thing. It’s a folding axe, what else do you need. I absolutely didn’t need it but it is fun and useful. It is heavy, look at the metrics. I was hoping it could be something I could carry, but it’s too bulky and drags down my back pocket. It’s got a cyber punk vibe to it. It is heavy and strong and will absolutely chop whatever you need.

Sharp, outstanding build quality. Yes, essentially a toy, but a durable and fun one.

Camping. Should come with a belt sheath instead of a storage case. Very nice ax!

Very solid and functional. But just to heavy and to small to be practical. If I had handled one in person I would not of bought. Got sucked in by the cool vids online. It's nifty but it's a 100 $ item

I've used it for yard work. folded i can just stick it in a back pocket. For dense wood works better than a machete. Unfortunately since the blade is narrow can be a bit time consuming on thicker trees. It holds sharpness very well. So far i havent screwed the brace pin in to lock the blade open but i do lock it closed when not in use. My only complaint is the handle is a little slick, if you choke up its easy to swing but if you want more force the grip just isn't there on the g10 piece. I took a file and put scallops along the perimeter of the handle and that was enough to solve the problem. I bought just because I thought it was cool but figured it would fall apart. It hasn't so far anyway. Interestingly, its a tough edge but its also a slicer, too. easily slices through paper. I usually just strop the blade when I'm done. It will knick easily if you hit a nail or staple etc. but its pretty tough otherwise.

Let's just say I can't wait to go zombie hunting. Everything about the FA01 is pure dopeness. This thing is built like a tank. You may venture to say over built. Superior first class quality. Blades sharp out the puddy wuddy pouche that it comes with which actually comes in handy if you sleep with yours next to you as I do. Not sure what more I could say. Nab 1 before someone decides to raise the price. Change the design screwing up perfection, etc.....

Hallo zusammen, fangen wir mal beim Gesamt Eindruck an. Die Klapp Axt kommt in einem Karton worin eine Tasche mit der Klapp Axt liegt, die Tasche ist durchaus als Hochwertig zu bezeichnen sauber vernäht und gefüttert. So mach einer mag lachen über das gefüttert, wer aber einmal eine eiskalte Metall Axt benutzt hat wird sicherlich froh sein das die Tasche gefüttert ist. In der Tasche liegt nun die fallt Axt , Endnehmen aufklappen benutzen fertig . Damit könnte man es nun belassen jedoch finde ich vor allem bei dem Preis ist eine nähere Betrachtung schon nötig. Am Material so wie an der Handhabung ist an sich nichts aus zu setzen eine separate Sicherung welche die Axt Quasi zu einer Feststehenden Axt macht ist über den Glasbrecher Pin möglich. Um zb bei längerem arbeiten die Axt zu arretieren schraubt man den Pin unten aus dem Griff raus und seit ihn oben über der Handsicherung ein und schraubt ihn dort fest. Ein einklappen ist nun weder ungewollt noch gewollt möglich. Die Axt bringt ein passables Schlag Gewicht mit allerdings kommt dieses nicht vom Axt Kopf sondern es wird Masse über die gesamte Axt erzeugt da diese komplett aus Stahl ist. Man darf allerdings nicht vergessen das es sich um ein Outdoor / Camping fallt Werkzeug handelt, es ist für den Notfall oder wo aus Platzmangel eine vollwertige Axt nicht mit kann gedacht . Ein längeres arbeiten mit der fallt Axt ermüdet dann auch schnell den Arm, für mehr als Dicke Äste und Holtz spalten ist die Axt wohl auch nicht gedacht. Sicherlich gibt es Leute die damit eine Eiche fällen können / wollen aber das geht in der Theorie auch mit einem Schweitzer Taschenmesser alles eine Frage der Zeit. Kommen wir zum Negativen Teil, trotz der guten Verarbeitung und der netten Tasche besteht die fallt Axt aus ein paar Stahl Stücken und dem Axt Kopf so wie ein wenig Griff material . Eine 20 Euro Axt die es auch recht klein gibt kann das selbe wie die Falt Axt und mehr . Damit will ich sagen das diese Falt Axt viel zu teuer ist, eine kleine Camping Axt ist nicht viel grösser und durch die richtige Gewichts Anordnung macht sie auch den Job viel besser als die fallt Axt wo für den Fallt Mechanismus viele Kompromisse gemacht wurden. Mein Fazit , ein cooles Gadget für Leute die nicht so auf Geld schauen müssen, es macht was her als schon Einlage beim Campen. Kaufen für Camping / Reset etc würde ich von abraten da bekommt man für 10 % des Preises bereits Alternativen die den Job auch besser handhaben, Andre
