Rehab center PT/OT recommended for comfort
My dad had to rehabilitate for walking difficulties after an injury to his tailbone. The rehabilitation center highly recommended this particular commode because it’s very comfortable (it is also the one they use, at an excellent Boston area rehab center) so I ordered it for my father and he loves it. He still uses it eight months later, even though he probably doesn’t really need it. It’s just so comfortable. Then my mom had a hip replacement and the commode she had wasn’t wide enough to open her legs to wipe, so I recommended this one and I ordered it and put it together and put it on her toilet, which is super easy, by the way, you just place it on top of the toilet bowl area and it stands strong on its own. The seat is soft and cushy, and does not cut into the edge of my parents legs, it is super comfortable to sit on, and it’s wide enough to maneuver on properly.I have now recommended this comode to many other people with aging parents who need a good commode that’s comfortable. They are all grateful as it was 1) recommended by rehab professionals, 2) tried and true by two separate aging parents. You never know, otherwise, how it will be (it could be hit or miss trial and error).

Elevated toilet seat with handles
The handles on this elevated seat were so handy , as my toilet is next to the shower , and I used the handles to help get out if the shower too! This was after having knee replacement surgery ! The Mercedes of elevated toilet seats !!

Easy to assemble and great for my total hip replacement
This raised toilet seat is easy to assemble and has comfortable padded seat with a splash guard. Best purchase I made prior to my total hip replacement surgery. It was ready for me at home when I was discharged from the hospital. I highly recommend this product! Thank You!!!

Can lightweight hold
I just received this product and it's as advertised and meets my requirements. It's lightweight and definitely holds the weight, but need to see if it's still holding up in a few months.

Comfort and Sturdy
I bought this to replace an old commode with a hard toilet seat that I had been using for handicapped access to a regular toilet. I use this in my bathroom as a riser and to for balance and support when I need to stand. This is comfortable and sturdy and does exactly what it needs to do.

Not made for a man - Measure!
I bought this about 5 months ago for a disabled man. I loved that it was a comfy seat, that the width of the arms was adjustable and that it included a splash guard. Those features are terrific. However, the seat opening is much too small for a medium to large man. In order for him to fit comfortably in the front of the bowl, his backside is too far on the seat, not over the opening. Meaning fecal matter does not cleanly make it into the bowl, it backs up on the seat. Further more, the seam on the inside of the seat traps the mess, making the clean up more difficult. This would be a great choice for a fairly small man or a woman, but is not appropriate for an average to large man. Do yourself a favor and measure before you purchase.

Great for non weight bearing foot!
This moved me from a potty chair I had to empty to one I could easily get to over the toilet during my recent foot fractures which require non-weight-bearing for many many weeks. Very sturdy and secure, comfy.
