KitchenCraft Classic Collection Striped Ceramic Butter Dish with Lid - Cream

This butter dish is really cute and does the job. It was inexpensive yet arrived well packaged and is complete. It is easy to clean and easy to open in the case of individuals who may have grip issues.It is not made clear that it is a second (paint marks, bump from production) maybe it’s just this one that was missed or maybe they are cheap because they are seconds 🤷‍♀️Overall I love it and the small imperfections add to it.

I have the Tea, Coffee, Sugar canisters. Also the salt and pepper pots and the cream jug.The butter dish is very practical and stylish. It holds a full 250g block of butter with room to spare.It keeps the butter at optimum temperature, thanks to the stoneware composition.I find that the seal is great and have no issues with it. In fact, the seal is very strong and does what it's supposed to do, it protects the butter inside the dish.The wooden Beech lid and seal are not suitable for the dishwasher, although the actual dish is safe to put in the dishwasher.This butter dish looks great both in the kitchen and on the table.

I love this butter dish and its subtle colours, but I'm disappointed it's not big enough to hold a large pack of Lurpak butter, hence I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other reviewers have mentioned that the stripes aren't quite straight, but this is part of the "rustic" look and is a feature on all the products in this range (I have other items that are the same). The lid fits well.

We don't eat that much butter but we love it on toast in the mornings. There is nothing worse than saving butter in the fridge as it comes out like a brick and you cannot spread it. This dish allows us to place the butter inside and leave it in the kitchen so it is ready to spread when we need it. The pattern is neutral so it looks good (my wife worries about that aspect) and it does the job it's supposed to do. It's very easy to clean too, just put it in some soapy warm water and hey presto it looks like new. I don't know if it's dishwasher proof but then again you should not need to put it in the dishwasher.I would recommend this product and then get some butter from [...]via Waitrose...delicious! I have no link to these people, I just love the local produce and this is top of the list!

This is an ok product; it keeps the butter at a nice temperature and it looks good on the counter. But I would have preferred to have had a lid that was able to go in the dishwasher with the dish. Also, the top edge lip means that butter can get stuck under there and be hard to get out using a butter knife.

Given as a present to my elderly mother who protested she had everything she wanted, but happened to mention she had no butter dish for when people came to tea. It's a super one, very attractive in a country kitchen sort of way, and doesn't look easy to break or chip, although I wouldn't expect it to bounce like Pyrex on her hard floor. The word BUTTER is printed quite tastefully on the side, . Certainly big enough for a whole pack of butter - not always the case, amazingly.

Nice butter dish. The deep dish design is better than a flat dish cover by a dome. However, the design is very poor. The rubber ring, an integral part of the lid design, has stretched after just a short time and therefore continually pops off the lid making it quite useless.

I am absolutely delighted with my new butter dish. The colours are soft, and not "in your face". I purchsed it because I leave early in the morning, and the butter straight from the fridge was too hard to spread. I am now able to leave the butter in the dish all night in my kitchen, where it stays cool and firm, and I can once again enjoy butter with my breakfast. The design is appealing, and the construction well made. It brings a smile to my face every time I look at it!
