BHL Glass Cow Butter Dish With Lid

Just love this butter dish. Not cumbersome just great size works well. I’ve had butter dishes that have cost a lot and look beautiful but practically not very user friendly .Some are too heavy some are too chunky some have a handle on the top and this makes it awkward to fit in the cupboard or its just too expensive to use everyday! This butter dish is lovely and a standard 250g pat of butter fits in perfectly. My son requested one like ours, when he moved in to his own home! 😀

Perfect. Well made, strong glass very durable. Love the imprinted cow design. Butter keeps cold but spreadable. Would recommend .

Just got it delivered today and thought I'd share the photos of the product in the first place. I think they speak for themselves really. It's a very good value for money when you buy from the British Retail Group. Especially that it's rather hard to find a glass butter holder and this particular one not only holds a full 250g butter inside but also has a nice looking design with a cow engraved on the cover. Also, it's worth to mention that the product was delivered in a perfect brand new condition and very well and securely packed (solid bubble wrap all around) to avoid any damages during transportation. PS. Very slippery during washing, so be careful there not to drop it! :)

This is a BIG butter dish! It easily holds a huge 250g block of butter, and I like the depth of it (as opposed to one with a flat base and a deep cover on top, which we had previously). It feels well made, not too heavy, and I like the glass because its dishwasher-proof. The lid is a little bit on the loose side, wobbles a bit when you're carrying it - and does let air in which might, over time, make the butter taste a bit funny if you dont happen to use a lot of it (we do!!) Let's be honest, nobody is ever going to get seriously excited about a butter dish .. but the quality is good, the kids think the cow picture is hilarious, it does what it says on the tin. Good value price too.

Luminarc cow butter dish is exactly what I needed & wanted. Love the embossed cow on the lid. Dish easily holds 500g of butter without making a mess. Luminarc is toughened glass & will not break easily. Originally had a plain Luminarc butter dish with lid for almost 50 years. Recommend Luminarc for anyone wanting a butter dish.

Its nice but 500g block of butter does not fit in it
