This set is so simple to use (and stick in dishwasher for cleaning) that I am astounded I had not tried it before. I actually had burned up 2 pans (water ran dry) and was so mad at myself on the 2nd one that I started looking for a steamer (had not looked before) and found this one and I absolutely love it. It is perfect for steaming my vegetables such as carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Just put plenty of water (in my case) in the pan and (sometimes I add a bag of rice) then cut up the vegetables I plan to use and put them in the steamer part and set in place over the bottom pan and add the lid. Check back for tenderness desired. I have been using this two to four times a week and love it.

I use it mainly to make Thai sticky rice. I use this steamer and bamboo sticky rice cookers.The stickiness is so appealing (at east to our family) and the rice comes out perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this item; it is a terrific value compare to other steamer pans that I've tried.

This is a WONDERFUL PRODUCT! It makes steaming easy. The ceramic pot and the entire way it is made makes it easy not to burn your pot or foods. I highly recommend this product!

A little "light in the bottom" You just know when you pick up some pans that they are heavy, solid, and built to last - this one was a bit light, but We are trying it out (just purchased)..2 Qt. vs. 2.5 qt. v. 3 qt." Hoping to replace our ~2.5 qt. saucepan, (20+ years old, also a bit light in the base, which has started to burn most things other than water) and since we are only feeding 2 of us, the 3 qt. pan was a bit much for out needs

I love this steamer. Great produce.BUT I am not happy with Amazon right now. Amazon must be changing how they treat their customers who are not Prime members! This is the first time I have ever had a problem with an order. I placed my order on April 28th (7 days now) and it hasn't even shipped yet. I use the cheapest shipping method and it has NEVER taken more than 10 days to receive my order, in fact I usually received my orders in 2 to 4 days. If this is the way Amazon is going to treat their NON PRIME customers I will take my business else where (Temu, Wayfair, etc).

I did not need to use the pot, I have other sause pans that the steamer can fit. This was a good buy for my kitchen collection.

Perfect pot. No problems.

Handles on steamer insert become very hot: use gloves or potholders!
