Great for Markers, ink does not go through.
This is an awesome book! I absolutlely love it! I bought it for drawing Those adult coloring book type things and the ink doesnt go through the page at all and there isnt even the slightest bit of show through on the next page at all. Ive always wanted to buy a book that i can draw/color on the back to back pages of. A weird goal of mine is to fill a whole note book and this is let me do that finally, i always ruin a page in the other mixed media pads that i get because of bleeding onto the page behind. I cant say for sure how this will hold up under other types of media but it holds up amazingly for felt tip pens/markers. True test will be when i grab my copic markers and color the pages in after ive finished all the drawings. Those pens went through 3 of my last pages if i didnt put something behind my page to soak stuff up. And those pages were fairly thick.Ive add a couple drawings ive done, they are on the front and back side of the first page in the book.

Does exactly as it claims
I'm so incredibly impressed with this paper. I just purchased new Copic markers and wanted paper that would allow me to see my markers in their full vibrancy and beauty, and this paper does exactly what it claims. There is zero show through, even when I layer dark colours over each other. The paper is smooth, a cool off-white colour, very slightly blue and I'm really happy with it.The only thing to keep in mind, is that while you are able to use both sides of the sheets, the smoothness of application with markers is somewhat compromised on the reverse side. The paper doesn't warp at all but the way the markers go onto the page feels and looks slightly less smooth on the reverse side and I believe it's either because the paper is so fully soaked with ink that it behaves this way, or my more likely hypothesis is that reverse side of these sheets was not designed to be used like the front side.So as not to waste any paper, I use the reverse for practicing before starting my actual image.I think this paper pad is well worth the money and I have no concerns about buying it again. I'd like to try the larger, lay flat style next time :)

Fab for markers!
Amazing for markers! They dont show through the page so you can use both sides. It makes the colours amazingly bright. Great product!

Fantastic
I love this paper!!! Doesn't show through at all and is great for practicing colours before you do a final piece as it seems to use less ink than my Bristol board!

Perfect paper for alcohol markers
INCREDIBLE! I use alcohol markers and was interested in the claims of this paper, and all I can say is that I'm blown away. I used a Copic RV29, which is a deep crimson and usually prime candidate for bleed. I coloured in a circle around 2cm in width for about 30 seconds solid... Surely, I thought, this is going to bleed through anything? It's not like the paper is particularly thick. So I turn over the paper... Nothing. Not a single dot of bleed, and the paper feels as usable on the back as it does on the front. Some kind of magic is involved I'm pretty sure.

You could use this with all media, but I wouldn't advise it.
This paper may be good with markers but doesn't live up to its claims to be usable with all media. I bought it because I often sketch with a pentel brush pen (whose waterproof ink bleeds through pages horribly) and then add gouache, watercolour, wax pastel etc to add colour. It takes graphite and brush pen well enough, apart from the paper being exceedingly "thirsty" and making it hard to make continuous lines or smooth dark areas. But I found as soon as I applied any water based medium the paper immediately turned dark gray, and became very rough. This effect was very pronounced and applying a watercolour wash with a sable brush left a raised grey patch that showed darker grey brushmarks which didn't dry away. What should have been a vibrant purple wash became a nasty dull mauve with dark stripes. Even gouache (which is opaque) would not cover the greyness and was subject to a drastic tonal shift. As the blurb on the pad mentioned it taking acrylic washes I tried applying one next. This was equally disastrous. I used a transparent shade which was totally thrown by the underlying greyness. It was impossible to apply the paint evenly and without brushmarks and gave the sensation of battling with the paper. I found that even opaque pigments were affected by the grey undertones and colours dried dull and chalky. I next tried wax pastel. This would not take evenly and revealed a lined surface on the paper. With a feeling of mounting desperation I attacked the piece with spirit based markers. These did work without the dreaded greyness or roughening but the thirstiness of the paper made even application hard. I was using expensive, artists materials so I am confident that these were not at fault. This was a dispiriting experience with what is a fairly expensive paper and felt more like a battle to achieve a decent result that I lost decisively. Worse still, when I turned the sheet over, although the vaunted "no show thru" claim held good, the back of the paper had so heavily distorted wherever I had used gouache or watercolour that it wasn't usable for working on. Aaargh ! If this review allowed me to give this paper no stars I would. As it is I would urge anybody not to waste their money on this and to buy something else. Canson do an economical multimedia paper that works. I worked very hard to discover if Rendr had any good points and ended up concluding that for a multi media artist it has none and the claim "use with all media" is only justified if you enjoy suffering.

Perfect paper
Perfect paper for any type of wet media. You can do so many layers of watercolour or any other wet media and it can take it. I wish Amazon Sweden sold the sketchbooks. Would be amazing to try them as well.
