Carp Coarse Rod Pod Complete With 3 Swingers And Rod Rest

Works very well the backrest central fitting was loose so I had tighten the screw and super glue it, this is the second one I have bought both had the same problem, the original one had normal bite indicators, which I m prefer to the swingers, I just binned them, but the pod itself is a well designed product, the production problem is not a design fault. The price is reasonable and it is light enough to be carried with all the other kit, great for sloping gravel banks where normal rod rests are unable to dig into the bank.

First time using this and found the screw had threaded on one piece and it wouldn't connect. Contacted the seller and had a new one within days top service. It's a cheap stand and you get what you pay for, it's not going to last forever but does the job. For the price it's not a bad bit of kit if you're just starting out like me.

Ordered this item on the 9th oct and when it arrived it was plain to see it had been damaged as a carrier bag had been put over one half and badly taped together. When I looked inside there was a hole in the bag that I could put three fingers into, and teeth marks in the canvas ( clearly a dogs teeth ) and inside the hard plastic case that the bite indicators we're in it had a lot of chewing damage. I have only given it 1 star rating at present only because I have been in touch with the seller and it all seems as though they are going to send me a new bag out, BUT I still ain't received it and it was a while ago. I will leave it one more week and then will put a claim in, but maybe the post is taking it's time. I don't think this damage is to do with the seller but with the courier, but thats just my guess. I think they treated me well when I got in touch, but have never done this before so ain't sure if it was good or not! Will up-date this review when something happens one way or another. AN UP-DATE FOR THIS ITEM IS THE SELLER COULDN'T REPLACE THE DAMAGED BAG ON IT'S OWN SO REFUNDED MY INITIAL PAYMENT IN FULL. COULDN'T ASK FOR BETTER OUTCOME APART FROM A NEW BAG. THANKS, AM PLEASED WITH OUTCOME AND WOULD STILL ORDER FROM THIS SELLER.

Does a job but it feels quite cheap & the build quality isn’t as good as others I’ve tried.£24 can’t really go wrong but I know it will need replacing by the time the Summer Carp season has come & gone as the plastic hinges, build etc aren’t amazing.

I have to admit i have used a lot of stuff from NGT and most of its been well made and lasts , but this is a NGT product by Carp-Corner , when i got the product there was already a tear in the bag , also not to mention that Carp-corner had its own logo on the bag and not NGT's, i set it up in the room to see what it was like and at first thought it was not well made and was not steady for carp, felt like it would snap when a carp screams away on the rod pod.First day fishing and although it was flimsy and felt like it would snap at any time when getting a bite it seemed to hold up but i think on bigger lakes this rod pod would not do the trick.Also the screws on the buzz bars are the worse i have seen every time i had a bit the screws on the buzz bars would come uptight and my bite alarms would drop down , on top of that the middle of the buzz bar broke that is meant to keep it from sliding left or right broke, not to mention that when screwing my bite alarms in to the buzz bar that i come to notice that it was very easy to cross thread due to how poorly this product is made i had to get some pliers and to unscrew it and hope to not damage my bite alarms.I now have a rod pod without a bite alarm buzz bar, and a very flimsy rod pod at that , this is not worth the £15 at all and it should be taken of the market but i guess you get what you paid for, if i thought it was going to be this bad of a product i would of spend a little more on one.Avoid at all costs!

verry happy with this bit of kit. as im new to the fishing game didnt really want to spend mega £££ on a rod stand so this one fit the bill. very easy and fast to put together and found it stable holds my two 12 foot rods in place iv even taken it apart and used it as two rest to fish diffrent swims. i have recomended this to my friends and they have orderd theres. hapyy fishing and tight lines
