This documentary will not appeal to all, but for those it does appeal to it will appeal in a BIG way.I am a bit young to have ever played with an Atari 2600 but can relate to some of the passion these guys had for wanting to find out just what the Atari Corporation did regarding those elusive ET Games and if it really was the “unpopular” silver bullet that killed them off? This is a great historical documentary for any geek wishing to recapture those late 70s early 80s passionate, hedonistic and hope driven days of early computer games programming. I love some of the pop culture references to those magical 80s Spielberg movies during the era. My inner 9 year old remembers with giddy excitement, watching those moves and playing the associated games (all be it on a Spectrum +3). Oh happy days! (before real life kicked in ;-) ).

Brilliant
This is An excellent doc that crams so much into it's short running time(A little over and Hour).Who would have thought that I would be held in suspense so much, waiting for a Digger to go through a landfill in order to find out if the Legend was true about Atari Burying Millions of E.T. Cartridges in the Desert back in the early 80's after Nightmarishly bad sales. Whether they find what they're looking for or not,I will not reveal but this is Excellent.

Must watch for a fan of early video games
Solving a mystery. Dispelling a myth. Finding the truth. A great film to watch for any fan of early video games from the ‘70s and ‘80s. Perfect companion to Ready Player One.

really enjoyed it.
I thought how can they make a movie out of a myth of buried video games but found there was more to this film than that. there was the history of Atari and the people behind the scenes who made the games. really enjoyed it.
