I should have read thru the reviews first because everyone is saying the same thing and the charger does not work on mine either. And it’s not really something you can try out before you install so once you get it installed annd then find out it does not work it’s extremely frustrating! Their customer service is useless because all they suggest to do is return it and order another one. I definitely will not be ordering another one from them.

Ordered 2, same issue with both. I have this installed in my 2017 Premier Suburban that had cracks in the console. Removal was simple enough. Some T10 screws on the back of the console, pull up on the back panel where the chargers and HVAC controls are. On the console itself, use a trim tool and pop open the console.The issue isn't that it looks terrible or wasn't usable. The issue I have is the charger itself.The good:Looks OEM sorta.Latch works, mine was broken so its a plus that it functionsIs a decent priceLarger charger area. S22 with case fits fine, Note 22 without case fits.The bad:The brackets of item #1 was bent. I had to reuse factory bracket/hinge.OEM uses 3 wires, center being ground and outside powered from BCM. New unit uses 2. In factory form, the console does not charge. The BCM supplies 12v and when this charger is plugged in it pulls voltage down to under 8V. Using an adjustable power supply the charger of this unit requires more than 10V. If you depin the plug and switch sides of the other (non ground) wire the charger works. Both units function this way.It does not light up as one would think it should.It charges, and charges fast but only for a few minutes. The charger overheats after 5-10 minutes and quits charging. Tried multiple Samsung phones that are charged daily on wireless chargers. One a 1300 mile road trip the charger seemed to work a few minutes, stay off for about 15-30 minutes than repeat. Didn't charge to full.Considering another brand.

I read the review about the charger not working and still took a chance. I am sending this back because it's not even a decent alternative. It seems like a nice way to save some money, but it didn't even match the black already in the Tahoe. Doesn't match and doesn't charge. I would suggest buying a new lid and just look for a charger to install.

Wireless charger doesn’t work, shame.
