This product does not do it's job and it isn't a proper swivel elbow. The purpose of the elbow is to remove strain and stress from both the tube and mask during use, as well as provide unrestricted inhalation without leaking pressure. This product does none of this. It does not swivel, putting strain on the hose and causing partial mask leakage. It also doesn't hold a proper seal, causing the machine to read erroneous data. The non restrictive valve doesn't even work at pressures below 15PSI, leaking all the pressure through the intake ports, causing the machine to stop thinking it's no longer in use. The valve ports also cause restricted airflow from the CPAP, causing it to push higher pressures than the user might be comfortable to. The bleed ports around the edge of the quick connect can whistle at high frequencies and may hurt some users ears. The only good thing going for this product is the frosted plastic looks really nice. I should also note, I got the same results from both elbows. This isn't a defective product, this is a design issue.

I had significant masks leaks with this replacement elbow. Because it only swivels side to side. It does not move up and down like OEM. Which cause the mask to not stay sealed against face.

I have been fighting with the masks that come with my reorder from my sleep center. The elbow will be fine for a short time and then they start making a gushing noise which is obnoxious while trying to sleep. I purchased these because I couldn’t wait for my next resupply. These are amazing!! I have an F20 mask and they fit perfect. A the most amazing part, no gushing yet and it’s been two three weeks! They are affordable and quiet!

Once I noticed my OEM elbow to my face mask was pretty nasty & couldn’t be cleaned, I started looking for a replacement. Came across this two pack (which is nice to have two) and decided to purchase them after checking out the reviews. I did see where a few said one of the two worked for a night then would leak, but so far the one I started using first in the pack connects well and works just like it should. It does have a slightly different feel to it compared to the OEM elbow, but that does not affect the way it works which is what matters. I’ve posted pics of my OEM part vs this new product for comparison. All in all, this is a great replacement piece allowing me to have continued use of my CPAP machine each night and I will be sure to order another pack once I run through the suggested 3 month use of my current order. Cheap, but... cheap. They leak 10 times as much air as ResMed's factory ones do. The leak is loud. I tried tying a cloth around the connection but it doesn't help much. The clips wear out and it starts falling off the mask.
