A great rod to have with big fish.
I have used this rod for several trips and enjoyed having it in the quiver. I have it paired with a Penn Fathom 40 2 speed it performed very well bringing in 50# blue fin tuna.

Misleading - This is NOT a roller tipped rod
If you are looking for a roller tipped rod.. THIS IS NOT IT even though the pictures show a roller tip AND the description reads "Feature both Fuji guides and Pac Bay rollers (Standup models)".Since NO stand up models are listed this feels like a bait and switch.. no pun intended. Are these descriptions and pictures not vetted?

You really should read this
I realize that it was a used or a pre-owned Rod however you should have let me know that It was defective. This Rod Twisted out of the rod holder on the boat and could have hurt someone. I realize why it was sent back but next time let people know why was sent back.

Rod works great with Penn 6/0 vintage reel
Rod works great with Penn 6/0 vintage reel. In rough water, the rod is a little difficult to feel when the fish is on but that is offset with the power the rod has while bringing in that 44" halibut.
