Great product, very easy to install (reasonably gauged wires).And YES, it IS completely dimmable w a 12v dimmer switch (also available on Amazon) As seen in photos.My only slight complaint is that the light isn't smoothly emitted across the cover, like my previous lights. In full brightness it is difficult to tell, because they are pretty bright. But as you can tell in the photo, once you start dimming it down, you can see each of the 27 L.E.D.'s.But over all, I'm very happy with this product.

My building inspector has denied me the ability to use this light in my house. Thus, it is useless.Lights in residences must be approved by an accepted testing lab such as UL, ETL, MET, QAI, and so on.I asked the vendor for such a listing and a link that I can show the inspector. The response was a link to the Amazon marketing page that contains no information on testing by an independent testing lab.As far as my county's inspectors are concerned this product is unsafe! UNSAFE!! I might be safe, but without certification, you just don't know. More importantly, I cannot live in a house that uses these lights for many of the lighting situations there.Who sells untested electrical products these days? Do boats and RVs have more lenient standards than homes. I would imagine that they are more dangerous to live in.There's much that I don't know. I do know that my inspector has demanded that I show him the listing or remove the lights. All of the costs of obtaining the lights and installing them goes down the drain.

I needed to replace my ugly RV ceiling lights. These are perfect. Bright when you need it, but dimmable for when you don’t. Size is excellent. Looks custom. Love that it’s hard wired because I’m short & can control from the wall switch.
