Probably won't amuse a child for long but I defy any adult not to laugh.
Bought an original one of these for my grandson years ago but when I saw what it could do. Sat around a conference table with twelve people who hadn't laughed for years. Turned this on. There wasn't one person who wasn't laughing their head off, absolutely brilliant. Sort of brought it home to everyone that actually life can make you laugh and when the monkey snorts.........oh my lord it's funny.

Funny Monkey
This monkey is great for kids and annoying for parents. Its well made a good laugh for both young and old. I originally saw this on a TV commercial and I thought it would be a perfect gift to keep my Nephew entertained and I wasn't wrong he loves it and all the family cant stop laughing. It's a soft plush and requires 3x AA batteries. It's simple to use, Just give his hand a squeeze and the monkey will start laughing and rolling around.

Hilarity for the immature humoured, like me.
Cue childish smirks and veiled sniggers.Perfect for entertaining the 5 and 7 year old boys for which it has been purchased for. Who, apart from the emotionally repressed, can resist a cute, googley eyed, laughing and farting monkey? May be I have an immature sense of humour but, yet again, I have retained my position as the coolest Uncle.I suspect that the included batteries will not last very long which maybe a godsend after the 20th sequential laughing and farting fit (the monkey, not mine). It was cheap and may not last for long, as others have said, but all the boys, literal and colloquial, love it. The girls and parents, not so much!

No-one has failed to giggle yet
OK - so it is a bit of a one-trick pony after a couple of hours but for that first time experience it is a great laugh for everyone that see' sit. I bought it as a present for my grand-daughter who - after nearly a year of having it is still very attached to it (and you should see the fact that it still works as a good sign of quality) and my wife borrows it occasionally to show work-stressed colleagues for a laugh. Limited but good.

Novelty soon wears off
My 4 year old went craxy for this when he saw it on the tv so I thought we would get it as a birrthday present. It's ok and what you see on the tv is what you get, but the novelty soon wears thin. He played with it a couple of times and showed it to relatives who came to visit and then by the end of the day, monkey had been resigned to the shelf. I don't think he has picked him up since. I'm not saying it's a bad toy, it may just be down to preference but I think it's just quite limited in what it can do and more of a novelty than a toy that will be loved for a long time.
