Works way better than OEM charger
Bought this because my OEM charger wasn’t working anymore. I found that it works better than the charger because it’s sturdier and you can have the watch lying flat. My Garmin forerunner 256 and my newer Garmin fit snugly and securely on there and the price is great. The cord isn’t super long, but you could plug in a longer one if you wanted too. The charging speed is about the same as the usual chargers.

Great quality, Great Proce
perfect for having your watch lay flat while it charges taking up less space. Easy to attach and the cord is longer than usual which gives it good versatility in charging location.

Stopped Charging After One Week, But Ultra Low Price Was Worth a Try
TL:DR. Mine stopped charging after about one week. I was hoping for more time, although I knew it was a risk given the existing reviews and low price point.- Models. I used this with a Garmin 945 and a Garmin Fenix 7 Pro. The charger worked well with the Fenix 7 Pro for about a week. It stopped charging my Garmin Forerunner 945 after about 5 days. Given the battery life on these watches, you can imagine I saw about 3 total charges before it failed.- Alternatives. I bought another brand on Amazon that was cheaper and came with 2 chargers, and those have worked for several months now. I understand not everyone had the experience I did, so given the low price point, it may still be worth a shot to see if you receive one that doesn't fail so quickly.- Design. The design on this one is nice because the watch lays flat, but because ours didn't work long, we didn't really get the benefit of it. And, if you use an elastic band like I do, the lay flat design is not as useful. My partner uses a regular clasp band, so it was nice for her to use that feature (and she mentioned that she liked that, as well).- Durability. The physical durability is so-so -- about what you'd expect from a charger this inexpensive. Of course, because ours stopped working so quickly, I give durability an "F" for the specific product I received.- Compactness. The "Ideas" section mentioned customers being interested in the compact nature of the charger. It's not super compact, but that doesn't seem to be a big deal because it's already basically as small as the watch (I little thicker on the base). The replacement chargers I bought are more compact because they consist only of the watch plug, the USB end, and a short cord.- Security. One note for security purposes -- it's best to not plug these into your computer, phone, tablet, nor any other digital device. Use a charger fob and plug it directly into an electrical outlet. The circle base is large enough to house a device that can be used for malware injection or other security risks. I'm not a security expert, but you can see that it poses the same risk as a thumb drive if someone were to intercept the product and modify it for illicit purposes (I'm trying to be nice to the seller, here, and not assume that an issue would originate at point of manufacture or origin).- Phone Hold? The "Ideas" section mentioned something about "Phone Hold". Obviously, this charger does not hold, charge, nor support a phone.Sometimes Amazon sellers will change the product on a page with many positive reviews to increase salability and visibility of a new or different product, although I believe that violates Amazon policy. For the record, my review is specific to the Garmin watch charger with lay-flat design. I paid $7.99 for it in March 2025.

Chargging connector fit my Garmin watch and did the job.
I got spoiled with having several charging connectors available for my Garmin watch -- one at home, one at the vacation home, and a third in my travel bag. (Unfortunately it was also a case of my aging Garmin NEEDING frequent charging, and the legacy charging cables didn't fit the newly-acquired replacement watch.) This cable is part of my effort to restore that charging infrastructure, and it works well. The sizeable base keeps the watch face-up, but also makes this a sizeable accessory, less suited for my travel kit.
