This candle holder can withstand the heat of a true candle, as it is made out of ceramic porcelain meaning it would not melt easily under a candle's flame. The carving on the candle holder's dome makes it look more stunning when a candle is lit inside. However the candle holder and it's dish is non glazed, making it very difficult to clean if any wax or soot got onto the surface of the dome and the dish.

This is really lovely. Its made from white porcelain and is embossed and highlighted beautifully. When in use with a candle under it the image is very clear and glimmers slightly in the movement of the flame.It is slightly smaller than I had expected and I thought that it would have included a candle but this is a stunning ornamental tea light decoration

I was very disappointed in this item, I couldn't use it as it was very hard to hoover my carpet, even my careers couldn't use it but it came in useful , my granddaughter has laminate flooring so she's getting on lovely with it.
